Methods of use, formulations, and devices for delivering therapeutic drugs locally to the region of the spleen are described herein. A method for treating sepsis and other inflammatory disease conditions can include inserting a drug delivery system inside the body, advancing the device to the spleen through the splenic artery, splenic vein or other blood vessel adjacent to the splenic nerves, or within a ligament associated with the spleen, such as the splenorenal or gastrosplenic ligaments.

Methods, agents, and devices to treat medical conditions through local chemical neuromodulation of the autonomic nervous system are described. Drug formulations may be injected at or near ganglia, nerve plexi, ganglionated plexi, and nerves to treat different diseases. Devices for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and related lower urinary tract symptoms

The invention is devices and methods to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and associated lower urinary tract symptoms infections (LUTS). The devices are intra-urethral implants placed in a patient in need thereof by minimally invasive procedures, preferably under local anesthesia in an office environment. The devices are sized and designed for atraumatic insertion and expansion within the urethra to engage and retract enlarged prostatic tissue proximate to the urethra that is leading to adverse symptoms associated with BPH. The methods include steps to deploy the implant devices of the invention using a delivery system of the invention and at target prostatic tissue that is visualized during the procedure and yields a reduction in the symptoms of BPH.

Implantable devices and methods to treat benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) and associated lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS)

Systems, devices and methods for draining and analyzing bodily fluids are disclosed in which a drainage assembly is configured to prevent negative pressure build-up. The drainage assembly generally includes a catheter which may include a drainage lumen, a reservoir, a venting mechanism in fluid communication with the drainage lumen and a positive pressure lumen, and a controller. The venting mechanism may further include a valve which is configured to maintain a closed position, as well as a vent in fluid communication with the valve, where the venting mechanism is configured to inhibit wetting of the vent from fluid within the drainage lumen.

Systems, devices and methods for draining and analyzing bodily fluids

Coatings, materials, and devices with biohealing properties are described. A biohealing coating may include a base material and biohealing particles. The base material may include a polymer. Various agents are described to denerve, modulate, or otherwise affect the renal nerves and other neural tissue. Also, various delivery devices are described to deliver an agent locally to the renal nerves. The delivery devices are positioned in the renal artery and penetrate into the wall of the renal artery to deliver the agent to the renal nerves. The delivery devices may be used to deliver the agent according to longitudinal position, radial position, and depth of the renal nerves relative to the renal artery. In addition, various methods are described to denervate, modulate, or otherwise affect the renal nerves and other neural tissue.
