A multilayer polyester film is characterized in that a polyester (B) layer mainly composed of a polyester (B) is arranged on at least one side of a polyester (A) layer mainly composed of a polyester (A). The multilayer polyester film is also characterized by having an elastic modulus of 20 to 1000 MPa in an atmosphere at 23&#xb0; C. and an elastic modulus of 10 to 200 MPa in an atmosphere at 120&#xb0; C., and having substantially no-orientation.

A polyester laminated film includes at least a polyester layer, and a highly crystalline polyester layer including a highly crystalline polyester having a crystallinity parameter &#x394;Tcg of 35&#xb0; C. or lower, wherein both the polyester layer and the highly crystalline polyester layer have a planar orientation coefficient of 0.00 to 0.03.

Polyester laminated film and transfer foil

A polyester laminated film includes at least a polyester layer, a highly crystalline polyester layer made of a highly crystalline polyester having a crystallinity parameter &#x394;Tcg of 35&#xb0; C. or lower, and a release layer laminated in that order, wherein the contact angle between the surface of the release layer and water in an atmosphere at room temperature of 23&#xb0; C. and humidity of 65% is 85&#xb0; or more. The polyester laminated film satisfies mold releasability, printability and thermoformability aspects, and is also excellent in cost performance.

The present invention relates to a laminate film where on at least one face of a substrate layer selected from polyester film and aliphatic polyamide film, there is provided a polyamide layer in which the chief component is an aromatic polyamide of glass transition temperature at least 60&deg; C., as a layer to undergo vapour deposition, and (1) the centre-line average roughness (Ra) of the face which is to undergo vapour deposition is in the range 0.005 to 0.03 &mgr;m, or (2) between the substrate layer and the polyamide layer, a layer comprising a single polymer or a plurality of polymers of SP value 10 to 15 is interposed between the substrate A layer and the polyamide C layer; and the invention offers film for vapour-deposition which is outstanding in its processability in vapour-deposition, and in its gas barrier properties.
