A photoelectric module of the present disclosure includes an optical device including an optical function element array made of a first base material, and a plurality of light emitting/receiving elements made of a second base material, wherein the optical function element array includes an optical substrate and a plurality of optical function elements, the optical substrate having a first surface and a second surface, and the optical function elements being integrated with the optical substrate and being arranged one-dimensionally or two-dimensionally, and the light emitting/receiving elements and their respective optical function elements face each other with the optical substrate in between to be located on a same axis in a direction perpendicular to the optical substrate, and the light emitting/receiving elements are disposed on the second surface with a space in between while being separated in units of a smaller number than array number in the optical function element array.

Photoelectric module and optical device

A driving element which performs driving according to a level of a voltage signal to be transmitted optically, a modulation current driving circuit configured to supply a modulation current modulated by the driving element to a light source for optical communication configured to convert a current signal into light and to output the light, and a constant current supply circuit configured to supply a constant current to the light source for optical communication are included. Then, when the voltage signal is at a first level, the driving element is turned on and the modulation current driving circuit supplies the modulation current to the light source for optical communication. When the voltage signal is at a second level, the driving element is turned off and the modulation current driving circuit stops supplying the modulation current. The present technique can be applied, for example, to an optical transmission system.

Optical transmission circuit, optical transmission device, and optical transmission system

Into a current-voltage conversion unit, a single-end current signal which is a photoelectrically converted optical signal is input. The current-voltage conversion unit converts the single-end current signal into a single-end voltage signal and outputs the converted signal from an output terminal. An input terminal of an amplifier unit is connected to the output terminal of the current-voltage conversion unit. The amplifier unit amplifies the single-end voltage signal to predetermined amplitude set in advance and outputs the amplified signal from an output terminal. Then, an input terminal of a differential conversion unit is connected to the output terminal of the amplifier unit. The differential conversion unit outputs a differential voltage signal which is a differentiated single-end voltage signal amplified in the amplifier unit. The present technique can be applied, for example, to an optical transmission system.
