An inkjet printing apparatus includes an ink tank that contains an ink to be supplied to a printing head that ejects the ink, the ink being injected from an ink bottle. The inkjet printing apparatus further includes an injection assistance member including a first passage and a second passage. The first passage is defined by a first upper end portion opening toward the outside of the ink tank and a first lower end portion opening toward the inside of the ink tank. The second passage is defined by a second upper end portion opening toward the outside of the ink tank and projecting upward less than the first upper end portion and a second lower end portion opening toward the inside of the ink tank and larger than the first lower end portion in terms of a distance from the bottom surface of the ink tank.

Inkjet printing apparatus and ink tank

There is provided an ink jet recording apparatus capable of preventing a user from erroneously performing an opening and closing operation of a valve in the supply of ink to a recording head from an ink tank. The ink jet recording apparatus includes a recording head configured to eject ink, an ink tank provided in an apparatus body, including an filling portion for filling ink to be supplied to the recording head, and configured to store the filled ink, a cover member configured to be movable to a position where the filling portion is not exposed and a second position where the filling portion is exposed, and a valve configured to be switchable between an opened state where ink can be supplied to the recording head from the ink tank and a closed state where the supply of ink to the recording head from the ink tank is blocked, wherein the valve operates interlocking with the movement of the cover member, and is in the opened state when the cover member is at the first position and in the closed state when the cover member is at the second position.

A recording apparatus includes a conveyance unit that conveys a recording medium in a first direction toward a recording head for ejecting a liquid, a tank including a containing chamber containing the liquid to be supplied to the recording head, and an injection port through which the liquid is injected into the containing chamber, the tank being disposed downstream of the conveyance unit in the first direction, a rotatable lever that holds a tank cap for closing the injection port, and a cover that rotates about a rotation shaft between an open position for exposing the lever and a closed position for covering the lever, the rotation shaft being disposed upstream of the conveyance unit in the first direction. The cover includes a sliding portion that is provided on a surface facing the lever and comes into contact with the lever while the cover is rotating toward the closed position.

Ink tank and ink jet printing apparatus

A liquid ejection apparatus includes a first liquid storage container, a second liquid storage container, a first terminal member, a second terminal member, and a circuit board. The first liquid storage container stores liquid to be supplied to a liquid ejection head that ejects the liquid to an ejection medium. The second liquid storage container is arranged side by side in a first direction with respect to the first liquid storage container. The first terminal member comes into contact with the liquid stored within the first liquid storage container. The printing apparatus of the present invention includes: a print head; and a liquid storage container in which a liquid storage chamber that stores a liquid to be supplied to the print head, an atmosphere communication chamber that communicates with the atmosphere, and a communication flow path that causes the liquid storage chamber and the atmosphere communication chamber to communicate are formed integrally. The liquid storage container can take a first posture in which the atmosphere communication chamber is located under the liquid storage chamber in the direction of gravity and a second posture in which the atmosphere communication chamber and the liquid storage chamber are located side by side in the horizontal direction. In the case where the liquid storage container is in the second posture, the liquid injection portion and the communication flow path are located on the upper side of the liquid storage container.
