A work vehicle includes a hydraulic main speed change clutch and a Hi-Lo clutch provided to a power transmission device for transmitting power to drive wheels, and a speed change control device configured to control vehicle speed in multi-stage manner by a combination of the main speed change clutch and the hydraulic Hi-Lo clutch. In shift-up operation for changing the speed from a low speed stage range to a high speed stage range in which a high speed clutch is used, before completion of speed change, the high speed clutch pressure is kept at a first pressure (Pa) higher than the low speed clutch pressure while the pressure of the main speed change clutch, which is a speed change source, is kept, so that the power is transmitted by a combination of the high speed clutch and the main speed change clutch, which is a speed change source.

A work vehicle may be provided such that in autonomous traveling, contact with obstacles is avoided, and work is efficiently and safely performed. A work vehicle according to an embodiment includes: (i) a travelling vehicle body that includes a power source to a work part and a travel part; (ii) a communication unit that is able to transmit and receive signals to and from a portable communication terminal; and (iii) a control unit that is able to control the travel part on the basis of a signal transmitted from the portable communication terminal and received by the communication unit. A plurality of communication systems is provided between the communication unit and the portable communication terminal. The communication systems include a first communication system that is able to transmit a first signal from a portable communication terminal, and a second communication system that has a smaller communication area than that of the first communication system and is able to receive a second signal indicating that the portable communication terminal exists in a predetermined area.

According to one embodiment, a work vehicle includes: a traveling vehicle body; an engine supported by the traveling vehicle body; a power transmission device which transmits power of the engine to a wheel, and has a clutch member which is supported to be movable between a transmission position and a block position; a braking device which brakes the wheel; a brake control unit which allows the clutch member to move to the block position and the braking device to operate in a case where the traveling vehicle body is braked; a brake determination unit which determine whether the traveling vehicle body is braked in a case where the braking device is operated; and an engine control unit which stops the engine in a case where the traveling vehicle body is not braked on the basis of a determination result of the brake determination unit.

A speed change control apparatus for a work vehicle includes a hydraulic continuously variable speed transmission that performs speed change on power input from an engine by changing a trunnion shaft angle based on a depressing amount of a speed change pedal and outputs the power, a pedal position detector that detects a pedal position responsive to the depressing amount of the speed change pedal, and a control unit that controls a number of revolutions of the engine and the trunnion shaft angle of the hydraulic continuously variable speed transmission based on a detection value of the pedal position detector. The control unit performs control so that the trunnion shaft angle is maximized at a second pedal position set to a position shallower than a first pedal position at which the number of revolutions of the engine is maximized by a depressing operation of the speed change pedal.
