According to various embodiments, a wrist rest is provided. The wrist rest comprises a base structure, a plurality of light sources housed in the base structure and capable of emitting light, a light guide disposed over the plurality of light sources and configured to receive the light emitted from the plurality of light sources and release the light, and a cushion secured to the base structure and disposed over the light guide in a manner so as to conceal the plurality of light sources and the light guide between the base structure and the cushion. The cushion is configured to diffuse the light released from the light guide. Each light source is capable of selectively producing a plurality of lighting colours.

Wrist rest and system

The wrist rest may include a base structure; at least two flexible supports extending from the base structure; a vibration assembly supported on the at least two flexible supports in a manner such that the vibration assembly may be spaced apart from the base structure; and a cushion assembly including a cushion disposed over the vibration assembly in a manner so as to conceal the vibration assembly between the base structure and the cushion. The cushion may be secured to the base structure. The at least two flexible supports may be configured to isolate the base structure from a vibrating motion of the vibration assembly. A surface of the vibration assembly directed towards the cushion assembly may move relative to a corresponding surface of the cushion assembly in a manner so as to allow the vibration motion of the vibration assembly to be sensed through the cushion.

Wrist rest

Each analog push button assembly including an analog pressure sensor including a pressure reception arrangement having an optical sensing sub-arrangement configured to measure an amount of light varied according to a pressure sensed at the pressure reception arrangement and an output terminal for outputting an analog signal corresponding to the amount of light measured, and a plunger element configured to exert the pressure on the pressure reception arrangement. The input device may include: a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion; a key top provided at the upper portion; a lever member coupled to the lower portion via a joint; a plunger; and a switch including a depressible portion coupleable to the key top via the lever member and the plunger; wherein the plunger is coupleable to the lever member at a distance from the joint which is different from a distance from the joint at which the depressible portion is coupleable to the lever member.

Key assemblies, keyboards and methods for providing a key assembly

The input device may include: a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion; a key top provided at the upper portion; a switch coupled to the key top; a biasing element having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end is coupled to the key top, and wherein the second end is coupled to the lower portion; and an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust a pretension of the biasing element.

Input devices

Key switch mechanisms are typically used for mediating user input to computing devices. A key switch mechanism provides immediate tactile feedback to a user upon user-actuation thereof. Unlike touchscreen interfaces, existing key switch mechanisms of conventional keyboards do not provide a user with a dynamically changeable interface. Described is a key switch mechanism that comprises a circuit module, a key cap and a linkage mechanism for guiding travel of the key cap substantially along a travel axis. The linkage mechanism comprises a positioning board and a main link pivotably inter-coupling the positioning board and the key cap. The main link substantially impedes tilt of the key cap away from the travel axis during travel of the key cap therealong from a released position, whereat the key cap is biased, to a depressed position whereat a control signal is generated.

The invention relates to an actuating device () for an electrical switch device comprising a body () upon which is mounted a hand lever () that rotates about a main axis (A), cooperating with a transmission shaft () able to control the opening or the closing of electrical contacts of the electrical switch device and elastic linking means between the hand lever () and the transmission shaft (). The device also comprises means () for locking the rotation of the hand lever () with respect to the body (), used when an angular divergence between the hand lever () and the transmission shaft () exceeds a specified threshold. The purpose of the invention is to limit the damage to the hand lever and to the electrical device when an operator attempts to return the hand lever () to its 'Off' position whilst the contacts are welded and to prevent the beginning of electrical arcing if the operator should succeed in unsticking the contacts when rotating the hand lever

An actuation device of an electric switching device includes a body onto which is mounted a rotary control handle and a device for locking the rotation of the control handle making it possible to lock the control handle when the latter is in the 'Off' position. The locking device includes a locking member that can move in translation along a main axis, a sliding element mounted on the control handle, that can move in translation along the main axis, and that defines an opening that can receive one or more padlocks in a locked position. The locking device also includes an operating mechanism interacting, on the one hand, with a locking member and, on the other hand, with the sliding element to convert the translation movement of one in a predetermined direction into a translation movement of the other in an opposite direction.
