Training apparatus includes: a base stand which has slide shafts that are provided side by side and extend in the right-and-left directions; a slide base portion which can slide along this slide shaft; a foot stand which is provided over the slide base portion so as to be turned; a connection mechanism portion which is formed by a rod and its support portion that engages a substantially-middle proper part of the base stand in the right-and-left directions and the foot stand, so that the sliding position and the turning angle of the foot stand can be correlated; and a spring which gives the slide base portion the force by which the slide base portion moves toward a substantially-middle position of the base stand in the right-and-left directions. A table tennis apparatus includes a ball projecting section disposed rearward of one playing surface of a table for projecting balls towards the other playing surface, a moving mechanism for allowing ball projecting section to be moved laterally, a detecting unit for detecting which side the balls have dropped on one playing surface in the lateral direction, and a driving and controlling unit for driving the moving mechanism according to the drop positions of the balls detected by the detecting unit, and for moving the ball projecting section towards the drop positions of the balls. The moving mechanism includes a guide rail disposed along a lateral direction, and a base having the ball projecting section mounted thereon, and slidably disposed on the guide rail.

An air hockey game apparatus provides appropriate dynamic characteristics to the game, thereby effectively improving amusement characteristics of the game. The air hockey game apparatus has a puck sliding surface having blowholes for blowing air to float a puck, an air-blower for blowing and sending air toward blowholes, a puck-reflecting frame around the puck sliding surface, goals on the puck sliding surface, blocking members in the individual goals, opening/closing driving units for changing the open sizes of the individual goals by using the blocking members, and a controller for controlling the opening/closing driving units, thereby allowing competition for entering the puck into the goals.

An air hockey game apparatus allows game players to appropriately recognize statuses such as a game progress status, thereby effectively improving amusement characteristics. The air hockey game apparatus has a puck sliding surface having blowholes for blowing air to float a puck, an air-blower for blowing and sending air toward blowholes, a puck-reflecting frame around the puck sliding surface, and goals on the puck sliding surface. In the air hockey game apparatus, at least one portion of the puck sliding surface is transparent, and display sections are provided under the transparent portion, of which the display mode is changeable. In a table tennis ball-sorting device, a plurality of rails are disposed side by side in substantially a horizontal direction along the side of at least one playing surface of a table tennis table at intervals that are capable of having passed therethrough only deformed balls, and a plurality of rails are disposed side by side in substantially a horizontal direction along the rear part of the playing surface at intervals that are capable of having passed therethrough only deformed balls. The former rails are disposed to be inclined towards downstream, while the downstream side thereof is overlapped on the upstream part of the latter rails so that balls can be transferred. A simulative quick-firing gun includes a shooting detector and an impact generator for generating an impact in accordance with detection of a shooting. The impact generator includes a motor, an impacter movable reciprocatingly in a specified direction of the housing, and a conversion mechanism for converting a torque of the motor to a reciprocating movement of the impacter. The impacter is provided with an impact weight member and a reciprocating rod carrying the impact weight member on an end thereof and operatively connected with the driving rod by a linking mechanism.

A flight simulation game apparatus allows a game player to simulate hang glider maneuvers through physical sensations. A control lever which can be gripped by the hands of the game player is mounted on a framework and extends in transverse directions of the frame work. The control lever can be moved in longitudinal directions of the framework by a control lever moving mechanism mounted on the framework. While in simulated flight, the game player can view at least a front simulated scene image is displayed by a display monitor. A control system vertically scrolls the front simulated scene image displayed by the display monitor in response to movement of the control lever in the longitudinal direction. The control lever moving mechanism also allows the control lever to be moved in the transverse direction and also angularly moved about a vertical axis, and the control system horizontally scrolls the displayed front simulated scene image in response to movement of the control lever in the transverse direction and angular movement of the control lever about the vertical axis.
