An electronic musical instrument and a portable terminal are connected to a wireless LAN. The wireless LAN is connected to an Internet via a router. A distribution server residing on the Internet is a server which provides Internet services. A pairing between the electronic musical instrument and the portable terminal is established to conduct Internet communications in a pair. Processes from accessing the distribution server to specifying a desired service are performed by use of the portable terminal. The distribution server distributes data corresponding to the service specified by the portable terminal to the electronic musical instrument. A user is thus allowed to use the desired service on the electronic musical instrument. ,

Service provision system for electronic musical apparatus

A slide operation apparatus capable of preventing a movable unit from being unintentionally moved in a box body, while being easy to assemble and simple in construction. The movable unit includes a gondola to which an operating element is fixed. The gondola is adapted to be movable relative to upper and lower guide bars. A sliding contact assembly includes a plate spring to which an insulation sheet is assembled. The sliding contact assembly in a curved state is mounted to a fixture portion of the operating element by having pawls of the plate spring engaged with notches formed in the fixture portion. During the entire movement process of the movable unit, the curved convex portion of the sliding contact assembly is in sliding contact with the lower guide bar.

Slide operation apparatus

A slide operating device (e.g., fader device of a mixer) has a moving blockwhich is slidable along a moving guideand a secondary moving guide. The moving guideis composed of a non-magnetic stainless shankand a scale portionformed by magnetizing a permanent magnetic member to have magnetic poles (markings). The moving blockis provided with a magnetic sensoropposed to the scale portion. The magnetic sensorsenses magnetic poles provided on the scale portion. Mounting hardwareA,B are provided as stoppers which stop a leverof an operating knob. Areas outside a range sandwiched between the stoppers where the magnetic sensoris allowed to travel are dead zonesA,B which do not have magnetic poles. Even if the magnetic sensortravels beyond the points where the operating knobis expected to stop due to an excessive force exerted on the operating knob, the slide operating device can prevent from keeping abnormal count which could be caused by sensing of magnetic poles by the magnetic sensor

Slide operating device

A slide operation device is comprised of a movement guide of a rod-shape, and a moving block that slides on the movement guide for setting an electric parameter as a measurement value in accordance with a movement amount or position of the moving block in a slide direction along the movement guide. The movement guide is composed of a slide bar and a magnetic scale material. The slide bar is formed of a rigid member with strength difficult to be bent, and formed with a groove extending along the slide direction. The magnetic scale material is made from a resin and a magnetic material and filled in the groove. The slide bar is formed with a concave which is deeper than the groove and which extends in a direction perpendicular to the slide direction, and the magnetic scale material is also filled in the concave.

Slide operation device

A slide operation apparatus capable of preventing damages to a movement guide for slidably supporting a movable member, without increasing the weight and length thereof. The movable member () is disposed for sliding motion relative to guide bars (). Usually, a protrusion () of the movable member is apart from a bottom portion () of a casing () with a spacing, and engaging protrusions () of the movable member is apart from a rail portion () of the casing with a spacing. When the movable member is displaced by being applied with a force in a direction different from a direction in which the guide bars extend, an excessive displacement of the movable member is restricted by the contact between the protrusion and the bottom plate portion or between the rail portion and the engaging protrusions.

A case includes first and second halves, each having an opening in its one side, combined together with the openings opposed to each other. A moving member is accommodated within the case and slidingly movable along a movement guide. An operator is connected to the moving member. The operator has a proximal end connected to the moving member, a free end projecting outwardly from an upper surface of the case, and a bent portion bent between the both ends. Tops of the first and second halves are displaced from each other, in a direction vertical to the upper surface, to form a gap permitting entry of the operator. Edge regions of the tops of the both halves overlap with each other in the direction vertical to the upper surface, and the bent portion is bent so that the free end projects outwardly through the gap in the overlapping regions.

Sliding operating device

First, an inner tube member is accommodated in an outer tube member. Then, rigid powder, having high rigidity and a hard-to-magnetize characteristic, into the inner tube member. Next, magnetic powder is filled into a recessed portion of the inner tube member. Then, the inner tube member is drawn out of the outer tube member. Then, a composite filler composed of the rigid powder, magnetic powder and outer tube member is subjected to a cold hydrostatic pressure pressing process as pre-processing. Next, the composite filler is heated and solidified into a billet. Then, the billet is subjected to a hot extrusion process so that it is formed into a bar-shaped workpiece. The bar-shaped workpiece is rolled onto a roller, and then the outer tube member is peeled off. Next, the bar-shaped workpiece is subjected to a cutting process so that it is formed into an elongated bar. Then, a magnetic section of the elongated bar is magnetized into a scale structure.

Magnetic scale manufacturing method and magnetic scale

In a mixing console apparatus, an input section inputs a plurality of electric signals, a processing section processes the inputted electric signals, and an output section outputs the processed electric signals. A plurality of operators are provided in correspondence to a plurality of circuit components contained in those of the input section, the processing section and the output section, and are assigned with various functions in correspondence to the respective circuit components. The operators are manually operable to act on the corresponding circuit components for controlling the electric signals. The plurality of the operators are arranged to form at least one group operation section such that the operators having similar functions are grouped into the same group operation section. The group operation section is divided into subgroups with markings such that operators belonging to one subgroup is distinguished from operators belonging to another subgroup by the respective markings.
