Electric operation apparatus

An instrument for high-frequency treatment is provided which includes a first jaw having, on a first holding surface thereof, an active electrode provided with a substantially flat portion and a protruded portion, and a second jaw having an opposing electrode formed on a second holding surface opposed to the first holding surface. Endoscope apparatus

The present invention provides a bipolar high-frequency treatment tool for coagulating and incising the vital tissue, comprising a pair of jaws provided at a distal end portion of an elongated member such that they can be closed and opened between a closed position and an open position, an operation unit having a handle provided at a proximal end portion of the elongated member, the operation unit closing and opening the jaws when the handle is operated, a first electrode portion provided at one of the jaws, and a second electrode portion provided at the other of the jaws. A high-frequency output power supply unit is electrically connected to the high-frequency treatment tool to selectively generate a high-frequency coagulation output for coagulating tissue and a high-frequency incision output for incising the tissue on the basis of a signal generated upon manipulating a manipulation portion. The manipulation portion has a control mechanism for causing the high-frequency treatment tool to incise tissue after coagulation of the tissue by the high-frequency treatment tool is completed.
