To prevent misalignment between substrates and distortion of surface, and to keep film thickness uniformity of thin substrate when two substrates are bonded for bonded member, bonded member manufacturing apparatus of bonding first substrate and second substrate, comprising resin film forming means for forming liquid state resin film on the first substrate, semi-curing means for maintaining outer peripheral section of resin film in uncured state and curing inner section surrounded with outer peripheral section in semi-cured state, and substrate bonding means for bonding first substrate and second substrate by bringing second substrate into contact with resin film, such that one end of outer peripheral section is determined as starting point of contact so that boundary line between contact portion and noncontact portion moves in one direction from starting point to opposite end of outer peripheral section while applying pressing force to second substrate.

Bonded member manufacturing apparatus and method of manufacturing bonded member

A pressing apparatus includes a lower die () fixed to a lower plate (), and first and second plate (), and first and second upper die punches (and) capable of being lifted and lowered along with an upper plate (). The first upper die punch () supported by a spring () is capable of being lifted and lowered relative to the second upper die punch (). The upper plate () is lifted and lowered, while intermittently feeding a band-shaped work (W) one pitch by one pitch from the right to the left along an upper surface of the lower die (), thereby pressing the work (W) to form grooves in the work (W) continuously. When the groove is formed in the work (W) by pressing the work (W) by the second upper die punch (), the groove formed at the last time by pressing the work (W) by the second upper die punch () is retained and positioned between the first upper die punch () and the lower die (). Therefore, the formation of the grove by the second upper die punch () can be carried out accurately.

Device and method for press forming

A hydraulically operated continuously variable transmission includes a hydraulic pump coupled to an input shaft, a variable-displacement hydraulic motor coupled to an output shaft, and a closed hydraulic circuit interconnecting the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor and including a passage connecting the inlet and outlet ports of the hydraulic pump. A servomotor makes and breaks the hydraulic circuit respectively by opening and closing the outlet port. A clutch valve continuously varies the cross-sectional area of the passage to change the amount of power transmitted between the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor. A control system independently controls the servomotor and the clutch valve, the control system being arranged to hold the servomotor in a position to open the outlet port when the clutch valve is opened beyond a prescribed degree. The hydraulic motor has motor plungers axially movable through a stroke which is variable by a tiltable motor swash plate which can be tilted by another servomotor. The servomotors include pilot valves which are operatively coupled to each other by a cam mechanism. The hydraulic circuit is kept broken when a motor vehicle incorporating the transmission runs at a prescribed speed or a higher speed and the angle of inclination of the motor swash plate is substantially minimal.

Hydraulically operated continuously variable transmission

Disclosed is a turbine comprising a turbine wheel, a turbine scroll passage defined in a turbine casing around the turbine wheel for introduction of gas to the turbine wheel, and an axial central passage defined in the turbine casing for ejection of gas from the turbine wheel, wherein: a plurality of variable nozzles are arranged outside of a throat section having a locally minimum cross section which is defined in the turbine casing around the turbine wheel. The variable nozzles may be defined by fixed vanes and moveable vanes which cooperate with each other in such a manner that each of the moveable vanes and the corresponding fixed vane define a substantially smooth and continuous airfoil. The moveable vanes may be pivotally supported by a back plate of the casing while the fixed vanes may be integrally provided with a fixed vane member having a disk portion which defines a surface opposing the inner surface of the back plate. The moveable vanes may rotate along and between these mutually opposing surfaces for varying the cross section of the nozzles defined between the fixed vanes and the moveable vanes.

Variable capacity turbine

In a variable nozzle structure for a turbine, moveable vanes for controlling variable cross section nozzles which lead to a turbine wheel are actuated by a drive unit which comprises an actuator for causing a linear motion to a rod member, a lever arm member which is pivotally supported by a part of the turbine casing and is connected to the rod member at its one end so as to be able to rotate about its pivot point with respect to a turbine casing when the rod member is driven linearly, a crank arm member which is integrally connected to a pin shaft which is securely attached to each of the moveable vanes and pivotally supports the corresponding moveable vane, and an engagement member which is fixedly attached to the lever arm member and is engaged with the crank arm member so as to cause the rotational motion of the crank arm member when the lever arm member is rotatively driven by the rod member. Thereby, accurate control of the variable nozzles can be accomplished with a simple structure.
