An elevator device that can continuously evacuate any evacuee left in a building by using an elevator. The elevator device includes a control device configured to maintain an evacuation operation mode corresponding to a rescue floor concerned when a car operation instructing device is operated on the rescue floor concerned before a predetermined time passes from when the car stops at the rescue floor concerned during the evacuation operation mode corresponding to the rescue floor concerned, and release the evacuation operation mode corresponding to the rescue floor concerned when the car operation instructing device is not operated on the rescue floor concerned before the predetermined time passes from when the car stops at the rescue floor concerned during the evacuation operation mode corresponding to the rescue floor concerned.

Elevator device

An elevator system is a one-shaft double-car elevator system and includes a floor-recognition abnormality detector to detect, with respect to one of the cars, a floor recognition abnormality that at least one of a car position and floor information cannot be normally recognized, a terminal-floor driving mechanism to make, on the basis of a notification of floor-recognition abnormality information detected by the floor-recognition abnormality detector, the other one of the cars travel to a terminal floor in a direction opposite to a direction toward the one of the cars, and a floor-recognition-abnormality correcting-operation mechanism to perform, on the basis of terminal-floor traveling information from the terminal-floor driving mechanism, a floor-recognition-abnormality correcting-operation to correct the floor recognition abnormality of the one of the cars; therefore, an operation to recover from the abnormality can be safely performed without collision of the cars.

The earthquake control operation system for an elevator includes: an earthquake information delivering device for calculating a predicted arrival hour of earthquake waves in accordance with a position of a registered building based on an emergency earthquake bulletin including at least a seismic center of an earthquake and an hour of occurrence of the earthquake; an earthquake information receiving device for receiving the predicted arrival hour through an Internet and calculating an earthquake arrival need time as a time required for the earthquake waves to reach the building based on the predicted arrival hour; and an elevator control panel for performing an operation of stopping an elevator car at a safety floor when the elevator car is traveling toward the safety floor, a car call for the safety floor is registered, and a stop time at the safety floor is shorter than the earthquake arrival need time.

Two kinds of alternation signals, that is, an alternation signal for odd-numbered electrodes and an alternation signal for even-numbered electrodes, are input to an SEG driver. In accordance with those signals, the SEG driver reverses, at different timings, the polarity of SEG drive signals which are output to odd-numbered signal electrodes and the polarity of SEG drive signals which are output to even-numbered signal electrodes. As a result, spikes are generated before and after the timing of a polarity reversal of an alternation control signal which is input to a COM driver. Further, the SEG driver reverses, at the same timing and in different directions, the polarity of the SEG drive signals which are output to the odd-numbered signal electrodes and the polarity of the SEG drive signals which are output to the even-numbered signal electrodes. By so doing, the crosstalk due to the spikes is reduced.

Liquid crystal display apparatus and method for driving the same

An image display apparatus in which segment electrodes of a liquid crystal panel are extracted or accessed upward and downward alternately one by one, relative to the panel. A luminance signal is alternately A/D-converted by two A/D converters, and the segment electrodes extracted upward and downward are respectively driven in accordance with A/D-converted outputs from the two A/D converters.

A television video signal A/D converter apparatus has an A/D converter which samples a television video signal to A/D convert it in accordance with upper and lower reference potentials, and supplies the digital signals to a liquid crystal display device. The apparatus also has detectors which detect digital values of the digital signals from the A/D converter which exceed a predetermined value and are below another predetermined value, and which respectively correspond to the upper and lower reference potentials for A/D conversion by the A/D converter. The digital values exceeding and below the predetermined values are counted by a counter, and the upper and lower reference potentials are determined in accordance with the respective counts and are supplied to the A/D converter.

Television video signal A/D converter

A television video signal A/D converter apparatus in a liquid crystal television receiver has an A/D converter for A/D converting a television video signal. Upper and lower reference potentials for determining an operating voltage amplitude are supplied to the A/D converter from a reference potential generator. The upper and lower reference potentials are divided at a given ratio by a resistor so as to fix an average potential of the television video signal at a constant value using the potential at the dividing point as a bias potential, and thereafter the television video signal is supplied to the A/D converter.
