A gas measurement apparatus includes an optical resonator that resonates light, a light source that generates light for irradiation of the optical resonator, and a photodetector that detects light taken out of the optical resonator. The optical resonator includes a plurality of mirrors, a holding member, a hollow tubular member, a hollow tubular member, and a temperature adjustment instrument. The holding member is lower in thermal expansion coefficient than the hollow tubular member. The hollow tubular member includes a portion higher in thermal conductivity than the holding member and a bellows higher in elasticity than a first portion. The hollow tubular member is equal to or higher than the hollow tubular member in thermal conductivity, and is provided as far as positions of the plurality of mirrors on an inner side of the bellows.

Underwater optical communication device and underwater inspection system

This optical coupling device couples a plurality of beams to a single fiber. A plurality of light sources is arranged at predetermined intervals and emits the plurality of beams. A plurality of collimating lens is arranged to face the plurality of light sources and collimates the plurality of beams emitted from the plurality of light sources. A reduction optical system reduces the beam diameter of the plurality of beams collimated by the plurality of collimating lens. A focusing lens focuses the plurality of beams reduced by the reduction optical system on a fiber. A first distance between the light source and the collimating lens arranged so as to correspond to a beam passing through the center of the reduction optical system is different from a second distance between the light source and the collimating lens arranged so as to correspond to a beam passing through the end portion of the reduction optical system.

Optical coupling device

Provided is a laser processing device capable of detecting that a return light of a laser light reflected by a processing object is incident on a laser light source. The laser processing device includes: a laser light source which outputs a laser light for processing; a light source for inspection which outputs a laser light for inspection having a wavelength different from that of the laser light for processing; an optical waveguide in which the laser light for processing and the laser light for inspection are incident from an incident surface, and the laser light for processing and the laser light for inspection are emitted from an emission surface toward a processing object; and a detector which detects a return light of the laser light for inspection reflected by the processing object, incident from the emission surface of the optical waveguide and emitted from the incident surface.

Laser processing device

A light-emitting device improves the beam quality of emission light from a single emitter light source in the slow-axis direction, and includes a light sourcehaving a single emitter and a beam shaping module that splits the emission light from the light source into to a plurality of split-lights in the slow-axis direction, and shapes the split-lights as a shaped-beam arrayed in the fast-axis direction, and outputs the shaped-beam.

Light-emitting device

A laser device includes: a plurality of collimating lenses collimate light emitted from the plurality of light sources; a plurality of holders each hold a pair of light sources and the collimating lens and which adjust emission positions and emission angles of the collimated light of the collimating lenses; a housing which holds the plurality of holders; a light condensing part which condenses each of the collimated light whose emission position and emission angle are adjusted; a heat exhausting member which exhausts heat generated from the plurality of light sources; and a heat transfer member which is disposed between the heat exhausting surfaces of the light sources and a heat absorbing surface of the heat exhausting member, includes an elastic part abutting against the heat exhausting surfaces and the heat absorbing surface, has heat conductivity, and transfers the heat from the heat exhausting surfaces to the heat absorbing surface.

Laser device

A laser device has a plurality of laser diodes; a plurality of optical elements installed corresponding to the plurality of the laser diodes; a plurality of units formed by fixing the laser diodes and the optical elements per each laser diode and installed corresponding to the plurality of the laser diodes; a converging element that converges laser beams emitted from the plurality of the laser diodes to a fiber; a housing element houses the plurality of the units and the converging element; and a thermal transfer plate performs heat dissipation of the plurality of the units. The heat resistance reducing element having a heat resistance value that is smaller than a predetermined value is installed between the thermal transfer plate and each unit or the processing for reducing the heat resistance is performed.

Underwater laser light source

The present invention comprises: a light-emitting element group configured from columns of serially connected light-emitting elements, one of the ends from each of the columns of the light-emitting elements being collectively connected to a power source; current control elements, provided to correspond to the columns, and being connected to each of the columns of the light-emitting elements at the other end thereof, for controlling the current flowing through the light-emitting elements; a forward voltage monitoring circuit for monitoring, for each of the columns, the total forward voltage across the light-emitting elements; and a control circuit for controlling the current control elements, on the basis of the total forward voltage across the light-emitting elements from each of the columns detected by the forward voltage monitoring circuit, in such a manner that the variations in the total forward voltage across the columns of the light-emitting elements reach a threshold value or lower.

Semiconductor light-emitting device

An optical coupling module reduces a number of optical elements, and includes a collimate lensthat collimates a light from the first semiconductor laserand then outputs the first collimate light, a collimate lensthat collimates a light from the semiconductor laserin a location at which an emission plane is approximately orthogonal to an emission plane of the semiconductor laserand outputs the second collimate light. The collimate lenscollimates light from semiconductor laserin-place in the location at which the emission plane faces the emission plane of the semiconductor laserand outputs a third collimate light. A prism mirrorhas a rectangular prism with a first reflection plane that reflects the second collimate light to a parallel direction to the first collimate light and a second reflection plane orthogonal to the first reflection plane and reflects the third collimate light to the parallel direction to the first collimate light.

Laser machining device

A wavelength conversion device having an excitation source, a laser mediumbetween an input mirrorand an output mirror, consisting of an optic resonator. A laser beam is excited by the excitation light from the excitation source; a saturable absorberis between the input mirror and the output mirror and increases a transmittance along with an absorption of the laser beam from the laser medium. A wavelength conversion element converts a fundamental wave of the laser light from the output mirror to a higher harmonic. A control element generates a phase-matched signal to adjust the phase-matching between the fundamental wave and the higher harmonic based on the output from the wavelength conversion element and the laser output setting value, and controls the laser output by outputting the phase-matched signal to the wavelength conversion element.

Wavelength conversion device

The light-synthesizing laser device includes a plurality of collimating lenses that are arranged in a one-to-one relationship with a plurality of laser light sources which exhibit anisotropy in a laser light emission angle, and that convert laser light beams emitted from the laser light sources into parallel light; a condensing lens that condenses the laser light that has been converted into parallel light by the plurality of collimating lenses; and an optical fiber () having a square waveguide core (SC) which has a square shape, the fiber receiving and synthesizing the laser light condensed by the condensing lens. A longitudinal axis of a condensed beam condensed by the condensing lens is aligned with a diagonal axis of the square waveguide core.

Light-synthesizing laser device

A fiber coupling module comprises an optical fiber connector detachable from an optical fiber cable, wherein an end surface of the optical fiber cable is treated with an anti-reflection coat to set the reflectance lower than a predetermined value relative to the light of a first wavelength band and to set the reflectance higher than a predetermined value relative to the light of a second wavelength band excluding the first wavelength band, and the fiber coupling module connects to the optical fiber cable through said optical fiber connector. A main light source outputs the light of the first wavelength band to the optical fiber cable. An aiming light source outputs the light of the second wavelength band to the optical fiber cable. A detection element that detects the connection status of the optical fiber cable to the optical fiber connector based on the light of the second wavelength band reflected from the end surface of the optical fiber cable.
