A gas turbine engine including: an exhaust diffuser including an inner tube and an outer tube that form therebetween an annular exhaust passage; a bearing chamber formed radially inside the inner tube for accommodating a bearing that supports a rotor of a turbine; a plurality of hollow struts extending across the exhaust passage; an oil introduction passage extending through one of the struts for introducing oil to be supplied to the bearing chamber; an oil drain passage extending through one of the struts for draining the oil from an exhaust oil inlet opened on a bottom surface of the bearing chamber; and an oil discharge passage for discharging a portion of the oil having passed through the oil introduction passage toward the oil drain inlet.

Gas turbine engine

A gas turbine engine, in which a compressed gas from a compressor is burned in a combustor and obtained combustion gas drives a turbine, includes: a compressed gas supply portion configured to supply the compressed gas obtained from the compressor to the combustor; an annular dividing guide body disposed in a diffuser that forms an upstream-side portion of the compressed gas supply portion, the dividing guide body being configured to divide the compressed gas in a radial direction; and a guide support body that supports the dividing guide body on an inner diameter side wall of the compressed gas supply portion.

Provided is a structure for bleeding gas from a chamber for receiving compressed gas from a compressor of a gas turbine engine and supplying the compressed gas to a combustor. The structure includes: a turbine casing covering an outer circumference of a turbine; an engine housing forming, between the engine housing and the turbine casing, a bleeding space that communicates with the chamber; a bleeding duct through which compressed gas in the bleeding space is guided to the outside of the engine housing; and an annular partitioning member arranged on an upstream side, relative to the bleeding duct in the bleeding space so as to separate the bleeding space from the chamber, and having a plurality of communication holes through which an upstream side and a downstream side relative to the partitioning member communicate with each other.

Bleeding structure for gas turbine engine

Provided is a structure in which nozzles of a turbine of a gas turbine and a shroud of the turbine are supported by a turbine casing. Each nozzle includes an outer circumferential flange having a front end portion and a rear end portion respectively engaged with an inner circumferential portion of the turbine casing, a front end portion of the shroud is engaged with the rear end portion of the outer circumferential flange located frontward thereof, a rear end portion of the shroud is engaged with the front end portion of the outer circumferential flange located rearward thereof, and the nozzle and the shroud are supported by the turbine casing through a support pin penetrating a superposition engagement portion at which engagement portions of the turbine casing, the outer circumferential flange, and the shroud are radially superposed on each other.

Turbine support structure

An exhaust diffuser includes: an internal cylinder; an external cylinder that forms an exhaust passage between the internal cylinder and the external cylinder, the exhaust passage expanding from front to rear; and at least one tubular strut that couples the internal cylinder and the external cylinder together. The external cylinder includes: a front conical portion that is positioned forward of the tubular strut; and an outer flaring portion that starts flaring at a positon forward of the tubular strut at an inclination angle that is greater than an inclination angle of the front conical portion. The internal cylinder includes: a front straight portion that faces the front conical portion and the outer flaring portion; and an inner flaring portion that starts flaring at a position between a maximum width portion and a trailing edge of the tubular strut.

Exhaust diffuser

An intake structure of a compressor includes an intake duct forming an intake port opening in a direction away from a central axis of the compressor and a bellmouth forming an annular channel expanding from an inlet of the compressor toward an inner space of the intake duct. The bellmouth includes a plurality of struts connecting an inner casing positioned inside the annular channel and an outer casing positioned outside the annular channel. At least one of a plurality of transverse struts, of the plurality of struts, which are located on both sides of a center plane passing through the central axis of the compressor and the center of the intake port has a trailing edge positioned on a virtual plane passing through the central axis of the compressor and a leading edge positioned on a side of the intake port with respect to the virtual plane.

Intake structure of compressor

A transition structure between a combustor and a turbine in a gas turbine includes: a transition piece including a duct and a flange protruding from a downstream end of the duct; and a piece cover surrounding the duct. The piece cover includes a boss that is fixed to the turbine by a bolt in a state where the flange is sandwiched between the boss and the turbine.

Transition structure

A variable stator blade operating device is a variable stator blade operating device that manipulates the mounting angle of a stator blade of an axial compressor. The variable stator blade operating device includes: an arm which is connected to the stator blade; a rotating ring which is connected to one end of the arm and is externally fitted to a casing of the compressor with an interval between the rotating ring and an outer wall of the casing; a drive mechanism which turns the stator blade via the arm by rotating the rotating ring; and a plurality of elastic bodies arranged in the circumferential direction around the casing, between the rotating ring and the outer wall of the casing. Each of the plurality of elastic bodies is mounted to one of the rotating ring and the outer wall of the casing and contacts the other to energize the rotating ring radially outward.

Variable stator blade operating device

A gas turbine engine includes: a plurality of combustors disposed so as to incline radially outward from a turbine side toward a compressor side; and a diffuser inner tube and outer tube forming a diffuser as an upstream portion of a path that introduces a compressed gas from the compressor to the combustors. A transition duct portion of each combustor has such a shape that a circumferential dimension thereof gradually decreases from the turbine side to the compressor side so that a circumferential gap is formed between the transition duct portions. Downstream-side portions of the diffuser inner tube and outer tube each have a shape gradually increasing in diameter toward the downstream side. A turbine-side end of the circumferential gap at an inner diameter side of the transition duct portion is positioned radially inward of an imaginary extension conical surface continuous from the diffuser inner tube.

A gas turbine engine, in which a compressed gas from a compressor of an axial-flow type is burned in a combustor and an obtained combustion gas drives a turbine, includes: a diffuser of an annular shape connected to an outlet of the compressor, the diffuser including a diffuser inner tube and a diffuser outer tube that are tubular members disposed concentrically with each other; and a plurality of partition members that are disposed in a diffuser flow path, which is an annular space formed between the diffuser inner tube and the diffuser outer tube, and divide the diffuser flow path in a circumferential direction.

Compressor of use in gas turbine engine

A gas turbine engine is provided, which comprises an outlet guide vane provided downstream of a compressor; an outer casing supporting a radially outward part of the outlet guide vane; and an inner diffuser supporting a radially inward part. The outlet guide vane includes a radially inward inner flange; a projecting part projecting radially inward from the inner flange; and an engagement part protruding to one side in an axial direction of the projecting part. The inner diffuser includes a smaller-diameter part having a smaller outer diameter than the other part located upstream. The inner diffuser is provided with an engagement groove extending to one side in the axial direction from an outer peripheral surface of the smaller-diameter part or a region in the vicinity thereof. The engagement part is inserted into the engagement groove with a gap between the engagement part and groove.

Provided is a structure of a gas turbine engine for extracting a part of compressed air generated by a compressor. The structure comprises a cylindrical housing having an annular portion extending around the compressing chamber to define an annular chamber, an annular partition dividing the annular chamber into first and second plenum chambers. The cylindrical housing has first apertures to communicate between the compressing chamber and the first plenum chamber. The partition has second apertures to communicate between the first and second plenum chambers. The first and second apertures are configured so that that the first apertures have a first total cross-sectional area and the second apertures have a second total cross-sectional area which is smaller than the first total cross-sectional area.
