An ion exchange filter for a fuel cell system includes a housing with a fluid flow-in port and a cartridge which is disposed inside the housing and in which an ion exchange resin is filled, the fluid flowing in the cartridge through the flow-in port is filtrated therein by the ion exchange resin and the filtrated fluid flows out through the flow-out port. The housing has a casing having an opened upper end and a lid closing the upper end opening, and the fluid flow-in port has an outer peripheral wall of the casing at a portion above a bottom surface of the cartridge disposed inside the housing and the fluid flow-out port is formed to the lid, and a gap is formed between the housing and the cartridge for flowing the fluid flowing inside the housing through the flow-in port towards the bottom portion of the housing.

Ion exchange filter

A fuel cell system includes an ion-exchange filter, which is provided with a cartridge which is filled up with an ion-exchange resin. The cartridge includes one of a pressure-loss emphasizing type cartridge and an ion-exchange efficiency emphasizing type cartridge, which are selectively exchanged with each other, for a common case of the ion-exchange filter. The ion-exchange efficiency emphasizing type cartridge is one for an ion-exchange filter having a high pressure loss and high ion-exchange efficiency and, on the other hand, the pressure-loss emphasizing type cartridge is one for an ion-exchange filter having a pressure loss lower than that of the former ion-exchange filter and an ion-exchange efficiency lower than that of the former ion-exchange filter.

An ion exchange filter apparatus to reduce ions contained in a liquid medium used in a fuel cell system is equipped with an ion exchange filterto receive an ion exchange resin. The ion exchange filterincludes a flow passageto introduce the liquid medium to the ion exchange resin, a bypass passageto flow the liquid medium by bypassing the ion exchange resin, and an orificedisposed at a branch section where the bypass passageis branched from the flow passage, to determine a flow volume ratio of the liquid medium flowing in the ion exchange resinand the bypass passage, wherein a hole diameter of the orifice is set so that a pressure loss generated when all the amount of the liquid medium flows in the bypass passagebecomes substantially equal to an allowance maximum pressure loss of the ion exchange filter

Ion exchange filter apparatus

Configuration image data representing an external form of an object is stored in advance in a configuration image memory. A two-dimensional image of faint light emitted from the object is detected by a high-sensitivity image pickup means including a two-dimensional photon-counting tube. Faint light image data representing the detected faint light image is accumulated by an adder circuit, and stored in a faint light image memory. The stored faint light image data is superposed on the stored configuration data for each accumulating operation, and based on the superposed image data a superposed image is successivley displayed on a display device.

The transformant having this polydeoxyribonucleic acid as well as a process for preparing the creatinase at a high productivity with the application of genetic engineering technique are disclosed.
