A safer safety door, provided at low cost and imposing little burden on an operator. A primary safety door with a top and a secondary safety door are provided on a clamping unit. The primary safety door and the secondary safety door abut each other at abutting portions provided on each safety door. The secondary safety door has an engaging member that swings along a guide member. The engaging member has a hinge bent in one direction. When both safety doors are closed, the primary safety door can be freely opened and closed independently. When the secondary safety door is opened, both safety doors are linked together and move as a single body. In the state where the primary and secondary safety doors are opened separately, when the primary safety door is moved to be closed, the hinge member bends and both safety doors are linked together as a unit.

Safety door device of injection molding machine

The invention provides an injection molding machine injection unit that eliminates adverse effects on the load cell of belt tension due to belt drive. A load cell that detects resin pressure is mounted on a pusher plate and a rotation-transmitting member, on which an injection screw is fixedly mounted, is axially supported by an inner annular part of the load cell. The shaft of a pulley is axially supported on the pusher plate and coupled by splines to the rotation-transmitting member. A screw rotation motor is mounted on motor mounts of a housing mounted on the rear surface of the pusher plate. Tension on a belt run between the pulley and a pulley mounted on the motor output shaft concentrates a force at the base of the motor mounts. However, the housing is separate from the pusher plate and fixedly mounted on the pusher plate at a location other than that occupied by the base of the motor mounts. Therefore, the belt tension does not adversely affect the load cell, thus enabling high-accuracy resin pressure detection.

Injection unit of injection molding machine

An injection unit in which an offset load is not applied to a ball screw for moving an injection screw. A pusher plate is provided that is moved while being guided by guide rods extending between front and rear plates, and is mounted with the injection screw and the ball screw so as to be rotatable but axially immovable. The ball screw is threadedly engaged with a nut mounted to the rear plate so as to be unrotatable and axially immovable. A support plate is coupled through coupling rods to the pusher plate. The ball screw has another end supported on the support plate in a rotatable but axially immovable manner. The pusher and support plates are supported on a base by linear motion guides. The ball screw is supported at its both ends by the pusher and support plates so as not to be tilted, whereby no offset load is produced and the service life is prolonged.

An injection unit of an injection molding machine capable of preventing a displacement of an axis of a heating barrel and an axis of an injection screw and facilitating a nozzle axis adjustment. A front plate supporting a heating barrel is fixed to a base with a height-adjusting mechanism located in-between. A rear plate is connected to the front plate by connecting members symmetrically arranged. The injection screw inserted in the heating barrel is rotatably supported by a pusher plate to which a ball nut is fixed. A ball screw engaged with the ball nut is rotatably supported by the rear plate. The pusher plate is supported and guided by the support/guide member, and moves forward to inject resin by the rotation of the ball screw. The support/guide member is supported by a supporting member fixed to the front plate. Being independent of the connecting members that are deformed to be elongated at the time of the injection, the pusher plate remains uninfluenced, making it possible to prevent the displacement of the axes of the heating barrel and the injection screw.
