A guide detection type rotary encoder has first through fourth transmission windings, first through fourth reception windings, and first through fourth flux coupling bodies. The first and second transmission windings, the first and second reception windings, and first and second flux coupling bodies each form first and second angle detection tracks which generate an Ntime and Ntime cyclic change at one rotation of the first rotor. The third and fourth transmission windings, the third and fourth reception windings, and third and fourth flux coupling bodies each form third and fourth angle detection tracks which generate an Ntime and Ntime cyclic change at one rotation of the second rotor. Nand Nare different, and Ntime and Nare different.

A measuring instrument includes a main body, a stylus configured to be movable in relation to the main body, an encoder for detecting the amount of displacement of the stylus relative to the main body, a calculating section for calculating a measurement value from the amount of displacement detected by the encoder, a display section for displaying the measurement value calculated by the calculating section, an operation section for issuing a command to the calculating section, and a storage section that stores an effective measurement range larger than a lower limit and smaller than an upper limit of the movement stroke of the stylus. The calculating section makes a determination as to whether or not the amount of displacement detected by the encoder falls within the effective measurement range stored in the storage section and displays the result of such a determination on the display section.

Measuring instrument

A cooling device able to blow cooling air in a larger amount than a conventional amount and in addition selectively with respect to a specific cooled element even in a case where an area of an intake port which can be secured in a front surface of a case to be cooled inside is restricted small. This cooling device is constituted by an air duct spread in a bag shape from the intake port into the case. At least a group of small openings oriented to the cooled element is provided in a wall of this air duct. Then, cooling air is blown from this group of small openings for the cooling.

In a holder and a structure for organizing excess length by winding cables and the like, an excess length organizing holder comprises a baseboard which has a rotation axis vertical to a fixed plane, and a spool which has a flange whose edge is provided with two incisions and a winding portion. The spool is rotated around the rotation axis in a state where a cable is folded by way of the winding portion and the two incisions, thereby winding the cable twofold around the winding portion. Also, an excess length organizing structure comprises a door detachable from a box-shaped rack, a mounting hardware connecting the door to the rack and pivoting on one side so as to make the door openable and closable, and at least one excess length organizing holder mentioned above whose baseboard is attached on a surface of the door when the door is attached to the mounting hardware.

A unique comment keyword is given to a comment statement in a source code. If the comment statements are insufficient, a comment including the comment keyword is inserted in this insufficient part thereof. After this processing, the comment statements are extracted from the source code to create specification data. The specification data is displayed on a display. An operator completes the specification data by editing. The comment statement in the source code is replaced with the comment statement in the complete specification data based on the comment keyword being used as a key.

Program specification generating system

The present invention provides an analog quantity display method of counting displacement of a probe disposed in contact with an object to be measured and analog-displaying the obtained count value by an analog display section as an analog quantity. If a peak value of the count value exceeds a possible analog-display range of the analog display section, an offset provided for the analog-displayed count value is updated in such a manner that the peak value is displayed within the possible analog-display range. Further, an analog quantity measuring method is provided, which comprises counting displacement of the probe, compares the obtained count value with a peak value of the count value, holds the count value as a new peak value depending upon a result of the comparison, and executes the comparison and the holding of the peak value again if the difference between the present peak value and the present count value exceeds a predetermined value. The analog quantity display and measuring methods are applicable to a digital/analog display type measuring instrument comprising a counter for counting the displacement of the probe in contact with the measured object, a digital display section for digitally displaying the count value, and an analog display section located adjacent to the digital display section, for displaying the count value as the bar graph comprising the large number of analog bars arranged in juxtaposition in one direction.

Analog quantity display method, analog quantity measuring method, and digital/analog display type measuring instrument

There is provided an identifier dictionary-generating device for use in a system for reversely producing specifications expressed in a vernacular language from a high-level language program. The identifier dictionary-generating device extracts alphabetic identifiers of variable names and corresponding vernacular identifiers, to form an dictionary of identifiers. The identifier dictionary-generating device is comprised of a word fetching device for fetching words from the high-level language program, a first identifier extracting device for extracting a first identifier from words fetched by the word fetching device and a second identifier extracting device for extracting a second identifier in a vernacular language from the words fetched by the word fetching device, and a registering device for registering the first identifier and the second identifier into the dictionary when the first identifier and the second identifier corresponding thereto are extracted. The dictionary containing variable names dentifiers in alphabetic characters and vernacular identifiers provided in a manner correspondent thereto can be prepared by setting the first identifier to an alphabetic identifier as a variable name, and the second identifier to an identifier obtained from a comment in a vernacular language annotated on the variable name.

In a portable measuring instrument using as a power source a group of solar batteries in which a plurality of solar batteries are series-connected on the same plane, respective light receiving windows are made to be substantially equal in area to one another, and each of the light receiving windows surrounds the outer periphery of other light receiving windows adjacent thereto, whereby, even if part of the light which irradiates the light receiving windows of the solar batteries is screened by a hand or other holding means for operating and holding the portable measuring instrument, it is avoided that only a specific light receiving window is screened, so that a current of the group of solar batteries can be efficiently produced.
