An electrical energy storage device is constituted by connecting together a plurality of battery cells. Each of the battery cells includes a transformer forming unit constituted by a first inductor, a second inductor, a first core member, and a second core member, and which is capable of forming a transformer between itself and an adjacent battery cell, and a potential detection unit that detects the potential of the battery cell. A control unit compares the potentials of the adjacent battery cells based on measurement results of a potential detection unit. Furthermore, the control unit performs an equalization control to equalize the potentials of the plurality of battery cells, by supplying electrical charge from the battery cell having a higher potential to the battery cell having a lower potential.

Electrical energy storage device

A power supply system supplies power from a moving body including a battery and an electric drive source to an external power supply target. The power supply system includes a DC-DC converter circuit provided in an internal power feeding path between the battery and the electric drive source, a connection circuit capable of electrically connecting the DC-DC converter circuit to a power receiving terminal (power supply inlet) of the power supply target, and a control device for controlling the DC-DC converter circuit so as to supply surplus power of the battery to the power supply target via the DC-DC converter circuit and the connection circuit.

A communication device comprises a connector to which a communication line is to be connected for sending and receiving a control signal concerning charge control between a transportation apparatus and a charging apparatus, a modem outputting a modulated signal obtained by modulating information to be sent and demodulating the modulated signal input, and a first internal communication line and a second internal communication line each being connected to the connector and the modem, the first internal communication line and the second internal communication line respectively being for sending the modulated signal and being for receiving the modulated signal, and sends and receives the modulated signal by superposing the modulated signal on the control signal. The modem outputs a beacon signal for communication, and comprises a branch line branched at an intermediate location of the second internal communication line, a wave detector circuit that detects the beacon signal transmitted to the branch line by way of the first internal communication line, the connector and the second internal communication line, and a diagnosis unit that performs a fault diagnosis of its own device based on a signal obtained through detection by the wave detector circuit.

A turn-off feedback unit (OFF) of a semiconductor device driving unit generates a feedback voltage as part of a voltage of a drive signal for establishing electrical continuity or disconnection in a bus according to a temporal variation of a collector current of a first semiconductor device (U) when the first semiconductor device (U) is turned off from on. A turn-on feedback unit (ON) generates the feedback voltage according to a commutation current flowing through a free wheeling diode (D) connected to a second semiconductor device (D) when the first semiconductor device (U) is turned on from off.
