The coupling unit (UC) includes a shaft, a shaft holder and a shaft fitting plate. The shaft holder includes a first coupling portion, and a first unit includes a second coupling portion. When the first unit is mounted in an apparatus body and coupled to a second unit, first, with an other-end portion (UC) swung upward, the first unit is mounted in the apparatus body and then, with the other-end portion (UC) swung downward, the first coupling portion is coupled to the second coupling portion.

Sheet conveying apparatus

A sheet post-processing device includes a discharge port, a discharge tray, a first sheet pressing member, a second sheet pressing member, and a holding member. The holding member has a first holding portion that holds the first sheet pressing member, and a second holding portion that holds the second sheet pressing member. The first holding portion selectively holds the first sheet pressing member at a first pressing position for pressing a sheet and a first retreat position retreated to above a discharge route. The second holding portion selectively holds the second sheet pressing member at a second pressing position for pressing the sheet and a second retreat position retreated to above the discharge route.

Sheet post-processing device

A sheet conveying apparatus () includes a first sheet conveyance passage (), a second sheet conveyance passage (), a pair of feed rollers (r), a first pair of conveyance rollers (), and a contact-release mechanism (). The second sheet conveyance passage () branches from a branch section () on the first sheet conveyance passage (). The first pair of conveyance rollers () has a first roller () and a second roller () and conveys a sheet along the first sheet conveyance passage (). When, in the branch section (), a sheet is conveyed from upstream with respect to the sheet conveyance direction in the first sheet conveyance passage () toward the second sheet conveyance passage (), the sheet conveying apparatus () makes the contact-release mechanism () move the second roller () away from the first roller () and makes the pair of feed rollers (r) convey the sheet.

Sheet conveying apparatus and sheet post-processing apparatus

A sheet post-processing device includes a discharge port, a discharge tray, and a sheet holding member. On the discharge tray, a sheet discharged through the discharge port is stacked. The sheet holding member is swingably attached above the discharge port, and holds the sheet stacked on the discharge tray. The sheet holding member has a plurality of link members and a joint portion. The plurality of link members are coupled to each other along a discharge direction of the sheet. The joint portion couples the plurality of link members to each other. The sheet holding member is capable of changing a shape thereof by being bent at the joint portion in an up-down direction.

A TFT layer; a light-emitting element layer including a first electrode, a light-emitting layer, and a second electrode; a wavelength conversion layer formed above the light-emitting element layer and being configured to convert a color of light from the light-emitting layer; a dielectric layer formed above the wavelength conversion layer; and a particle layer formed above the dielectric layer and including metal nanoparticles including a core and a shell around the core.

Display device

A display device includes a light-emitting layer and a red converting layer, the red converting layer includes a binder resin, red luminescent bodies, and In nanoparticles, each of the In nanoparticles includes a core and a silica shell, and the silica shell includes blue luminescent bodies emitting light having a wavelength shorter than that of red luminescent bodies.

A sheet folding device includes a sheet conveyance path, first and second side plates, a first folding roller pair, a first folding guide, and a guide drive mechanism. The first folding guide is reciprocatable between a folding position and a retracted position, and includes a guide main body and first and second arms provided respectively at both ends of the guide main body. The guide drive mechanism includes a drive source provided on the first side plate, a first drive transmission portion that transmits a drive force of the drive source to the first arm, a second drive transmission portion that transmits the drive force to the second arm, and a drive coupling portion that couples the first drive transmission portion to the second drive transmission portion and transmits the drive force from the first drive transmission portion to the second drive transmission portion.

Sheet folding device, sheet post-processor provided with the same, and image forming system

A post-processing apparatus () includes a first conveyance path (), a first processing part (), a second conveyance path () and a merging conveyance path (), and the first processing part () includes a conveying rollers pair () including a first roller () and a second roller () conveying the sheet along a first direction; a first folding rollers pair () including the first roller () and a third roller () forming a first nip, conveying the sheet along a second direction and performing a folding processing along a first fold line; a second folding rollers pair () including the third roller () and a fourth roller () forming a second nip, conveying the sheet along a third direction and performing a folding processing along a second fold line; a first folding guide () movable to the first nip; and a second folding guide () movable to the second nip.

Post-processing apparatus

A sheet folding device includes a sheet conveyance path, a first folding conveyance path, a first folding roller pair, a first folding guide, and a conveyance roller. The first folding roller pair is composed of a first roller and a second roller forming a first folding nip by being brought into pressure contact with an upstream side of the first roller. The first folding guide is movable between a folding position at which it approaches the first folding nip, guiding a to-be-folded part of a sheet to the first folding nip, and a retracted position at which it is away from the first folding nip. The conveyance roller forms, together with the second roller, a first assist roller pair that conveys the sheet along the sheet conveyance path. The first folding guide has a pivot fulcrum on a downstream side relative to the first folding nip in the conveyance direction.

Sheet folding device and sheet post-processor provided with the same

The display device includes a liquid crystal panel including a polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) layer and a light source, the PDLC layer containing a polymer network and liquid crystal components dispersed in the polymer network, the light source being apart from the liquid crystal panel with an air layer, and configured to emit light toward the liquid crystal panel from an oblique direction, the end portion and the central portion of the PDLC layer each having, in the scattering state, an angle dependence which changes a transmittance of light to be emitted from a front surface based on an angle at which light is incident on a back surface of the PDLC layer, with the angle dependence of the end portion being different from the angle dependence of the central portion, the light source irradiating the end portion and the central portion with light at different angles.

A sheet post-processing apparatus includes a first sheet conveyance passage, a second sheet conveyance passage, a sheet folding portion, and a merging portion. The second sheet conveyance passage branches off from a branch portion on the first sheet conveyance passage. The merging portion is located downstream of the branch portion on the first sheet conveyance passage, and there a folding conveyance passage of the sheet folding portion merges with the first sheet conveyance passage. When performing a folding process on a sheet, a controller guides the sheet conveyed from a sheet introduction port into the first sheet conveyance passage via the branch portion to the second sheet conveyance passage, then reverses the conveyance direction to guide the sheet to the sheet folding portion to perform the folding process, and passes the sheet through the folding conveyance passage, merges the sheet into the first sheet conveyance passage at the merging portion.

Sheet post-processing apparatus

Provided is a liquid crystal display device including: an active matrix substrate including a first substrate, and a first electrode and a second electrode that are stacked via a first insulating layer or that face each other on the first substrate, the second electrode being disposed for each sub-pixel; and a counter substrate sequentially including a second substrate, a third electrode including linear electrode portions, a second insulating layer, and a fourth electrode including linear electrode portions, an extending direction of the linear electrode portions of the third electrode intersecting an extending direction of the linear electrode portions of the fourth electrode in a plan view; and a control circuit being configured to switch between application of an alternating voltage and application of a constant voltage to the third electrode and/or the fourth electrode.

Liquid crystal display device

A sheet folding device includes a folding rollers pair, a folding blade and a sheet guide. The folding rollers pair causes a sheet to pass through a first nip area to fold the sheet. The folding blade includes a blade portion and a pair of arm portions. The blade portion is selectively disposed in a folding position where the blade portion pushes a folded portion of the sheet into the first nip area and in a retracting position where the blade portion is retracted from the folding position. The pair of arm portions couples both end portions of the blade portion with the pivot shaft. The sheet guide can be passed between the pair of arm portions. Between the blade portion and the sheet guide, a retreating path in which a part of the sheet is retreated when the folded portion is pushed into the first nip area.

Sheet folding device and sheet post-processing apparatus including the same

Provided is a liquid crystal display device including: a liquid crystal panel; and a control circuit. The liquid crystal panel sequentially includes an active matrix substrate, a first alignment film, a liquid crystal layer containing liquid crystal molecules having a negative anisotropy of dielectric constant, a second alignment film aligning the liquid crystal molecules at an angle of 10&#xb0; or greater and 30&#xb0; or smaller, and a counter substrate. The active matrix substrate includes a first substrate, and a first electrode and a second electrode that are stacked via a first insulating layer or that face each other on the first substrate. The counter substrate sequentially includes a second substrate, a third electrode, a second insulating layer, and a fourth electrode. The control circuit is configured to switch between application of alternating voltage and application of constant voltage to the third and/or fourth electrode according to a display mode.

Liquid crystal display device having multiple display modes

Provided is a liquid crystal display device including: a liquid crystal panel including display units for displaying an image using a veil-view function; and a control circuit. The display units each include a pair of sub-pixels including a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel. The liquid crystal panel sequentially includes an active matrix substrate, a first alignment film, a liquid crystal layer containing liquid crystal molecules, a second alignment film, and a counter substrate. The active matrix substrate includes first and second electrodes that are stacked via a first insulating layer or that face each other on the first substrate. At least one of the first or second electrode is disposed for each first sub-pixel and for each second sub-pixel. The counter substrate includes a third electrode. The control circuit is configured to switch between application of alternating voltage and application of constant voltage to the third electrode.
