A saddle-ride vehicle is a saddle-ride vehicle, in which at least a part of a side surface of an engine is exposed, which includes a windshield located in front of feet of a rider, in which the windshield is located on a the side surface of a crankcase of the engine and is supported only by the crankcase.

One embodiment provides a rear portion structure of a saddle-ride type vehicle. The structure includes: seat frames inclined rearward and upward and supporting a riding seat; and a rear cowl having an upper cowl and a lower cowl. The upper cowl includes: a first cowl; and a second cowl which is connected to the first cowl and forms an opening upper edge portion of an opening for exposing a tail light. The lower cowl includes: a third cowl; and a fourth cowl which is connected to the third cowl and forms an opening lower edge portion of the opening. An approximately-U-shaped recessed portion is opened at a rear end of the third cowl. The fourth cowl forms the opening lower edge portion while covering the U-shaped recessed portion.

A front structure of a saddle ride type vehicle includes a headlight unit, a front cowl, and a middle cowl. At a position outside the headlight unit in the vehicle width direction, an air intake portion opening to the front side of the vehicle is formed between the front cowl and the middle cowl. The front cowl includes a partition wall configured to divide the air intake portion into an upper region and a lower region. The lower region forms an inlet of an air intake path of an air cleaner. The upper region forms a first wind guide path configured to discharge a traveling wind to the rear side of the front cowl.

The expanded, side faces also expand downward to form a pair of left and right knee grip portions such that the knee grip portions may be held between the inner sides of the knees and/or the inner parts of the thighs of the driver. While the bicycle is moving, the driver can support the bicycle at the handle bar, the pedals and the knee grip portions. Therefore, the driver can improve the stability of the bicycle and maintain a good posture. Further, if the surface area of the knee grip portions is increased, then the knee grip portions can be held readily between the inner sides of the knees and the inner parts of the thighs. Accordingly, a wide range of beneficial operating positions is provided for the aggressive use of the bicycle in applications such as mountain bike racing.

A personal watercraft is basically configured such that a handlebar is disposed on the center line in the width direction of a body, a front hood for covering an upper front portion of the body is disposed in front of the handlebar, and left and right side covers are disposed at left and right lower edges of the front hood, respectively, wherein air is introduced into an in-body space through left and right gaps S between the side covers and the front hood. This personal watercraft includes left and right labyrinth structures for allowing an introduction of air into the in-body space and prohibiting permeation of water in the in-body space are provided in the gaps S between the front hood and the side covers, respectively.

To provide an article storage structure for a small boat in which the forward visibility of the small boat can be increased substantially and the center of gravity of the small boat can be lowered. The article storage structure for a small boat includes a steering handle for a hull disposed thereon. A display panel is disposed forwardly of the steering handle. An article storage box is provided forwardly of the display panel. A lid is provided for covering the upper surface opening of the article storage box. A hinge is provided at the front end of the lid. A latch is provided at the rear end for locking the lid. The article storage structure for a small boat includes a downwardly recessed mounting bracket provided forwardly of the display panel and rearwardly of the article storage box. An engaging member is provided on the mounting bracket.
