A hydraulic control device that includes a primary pressure control valve that has a first valve element and that regulates the primary pressure by varying a position of the first valve element in accordance with operation of a first electromagnetic actuator; a secondary pressure control valve that has a second valve element and that regulates the secondary pressure by varying a position of the second valve element in accordance with operation of a second electromagnetic actuator; and a fail-safe valve that varies the position of the first valve element such that the primary pressure is reduced when the first electromagnetic actuator and the second electromagnetic actuator become inoperable.

Hydraulic control device for automatic transmission

A vehicle power transmission device includes: a continuously variable transmission including a primary pulley, a secondary pulley, and a transmission belt wound between the primary pulley and the secondary pulley; a belt running clutch of hydraulic type for transmitting power to the continuously variable transmission; and a hydraulic control circuit controlling the continuously variable transmission and the belt running clutch. The hydraulic control circuit includes a fail-safe valve switching a communication destination of an oil supply passage for supplying a hydraulic fluid to the belt running clutch to one of a first oil passage supplied with a control hydraulic pressure and a second oil passage supplied with a hydraulic pressure higher than the control hydraulic pressure, the fail-safe valve connecting the oil supply passage with the second oil passage when the fail-safe valve is switched to a failure position. The second oil passage is provided with an orifice.

Vehicle power transmission device

A hydraulic control unit of a vehicle drive system including an automatic transmission, and an oil pump device, includes: a first electromagnetic valve; a second electromagnetic valve; first and second oil passages; a third oil passage; a manual valve operated to connect and disconnect the first and third oil passages and a drain oil passage to and from each other, in response to an operation of a manually operated shifting device by a vehicle operator, such that the first oil passage is connected to the third oil passage when the shifting device is placed in a first operating position, while the first oil passage is connected to the drain oil passage when the shifting device is placed in a second operating position; an accumulator connected to the first oil passage; and a check valve provided in the second oil passage.

A hydraulic control device that includes a second switching valve that is switchable between a third position in which the forward range pressure input from the first switching valve is output to the shift controller and the reverse range pressure is blocked when the second signal pressure is off and a fourth position in which the reverse range pressure input from the first switching valve is output to the shift controller and the forward range pressure is blocked when the second signal pressure is on.

A hydraulic control device that includes a normally closed first solenoid valve, a first check valve, a failsafe valve, and a second check valve, wherein the first movable member of the first check valve is biased to cut off the communication between the first input port and the first drain port in case of the failure in which no current is applied to the first solenoid valve.

A hydraulic control device is provided with a solenoid valve, a pressure regulating valve, a switching valve, and a control unit. Hydraulic control device

In a hydraulic control device, when a solenoid pressure from a linear solenoid valve is not supplied to a brake, which is normally not engaged at the same time as a brake, not to engage the brake, a switching valve is supplied with a line pressure as a signal pressure for establishing a blocked/discharge state in which supply of the solenoid pressure to the brake is blocked and a hydraulic pressure can be discharged from the brake. When the solenoid pressure is supplied to the brake to engage the brake, the switching valve is supplied with a modulator pressure, which is lower than the line pressure, as a signal pressure for establishing a communicated state in which the solenoid pressure can be supplied to the brake.

In a vehicle body side structure, an impact beam () is mounted to a door inner panel () by an impact beam extension (). A part of the impact beam extension () that extends from an impact beam fixing part () to the door inner panel () serves as a load transmission part () capable of transmitting a load from the impact beam () to the door inner panel (), and the extension line therefrom is directed at the centroid Cof the body pillar (). With a simple structure such as this, at the time of a side impact it is possible to transfer a load from the impact beam () in a straight line to the centroid Cof the body pillar () while suppressing the twisting moment of the body pillar ().

A structure in which a plurality of electrical equipments are arranged in a motor vehicle is provided in which electrical equipments, such as an engine control computer, a relay block, a junction box, an ABS actuator, and a meter unit, which were conventionally arranged apart from each other in an engine room and cabin of the vehicle, are concentrated in a generally central region of the vehicle as viewed in the vehicle width direction, namely, on a centerline that extends in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body and in the vicinity thereof.

Arrangement of electrical equipments in motor vehicle

A door hinge is provided for a side-door of a vehicle whereby an impact applied to the side door in a direction transverse to the vehicle is absorbed at a connecting portion for connecting the side door to the body of the vehicle. The door hinge is comprised of a female and a male, and a connecting portion is provided uprightly on the male. Bearing portions are provided uprightly on the female, and the connecting portion and the bearing portions rotate relatively to each other with a shaft as a center of rotation. The connecting portion of the male is curved in such a manner as to protrude in the forward direction of the vehicle, and a point of application of a load and a support point in the male are offset from each other in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle. In a case where an impact load is applied to the side door from its outer side in the transverse direction of the vehicle, the connecting portion of the male becomes further curved in such a manner as to protrude further in the forward direction of the vehicle.
