According to one embodiment, a medical image diagnostic apparatus includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry configured to acquire first volume data and second volume data relating to a subject, set a first region of interest for the first volume data, set a second region of interest for the second volume data independently from setting of the first region of interest, perform a cropping process on the first volume data and the second volume data based on information representing the first region of interest and the second region of interest, and generate display image data based on the first volume data and the second volume data that have been subjected to the cropping process.

According to one embodiment, an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes a transmission/reception circuit and processing circuitry. The transmission/reception circuit performs a first scan and a second scan, which are different in acoustic field in an elevation direction, by controlling at least one of transducers arranged along an azimuth direction and the elevation direction. The processing circuitry generates a first needle-enhanced image by using data acquired in the first scan, and generates a second needle-enhanced image by using data acquired in the second scan.

Ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus

According to on embodiment, a power supply circuit is provided in a main body and generates operating voltages for various electric circuits in the ultrasonic probe. Signal lines SLconnects the power supply circuit to the electric circuits by way of the probe connector, to supply operating voltages from the power supply circuit to the electric circuits. A voltage monitoring circuit is provided in the main body and monitors voltages supplied to the electric circuits, utilizing the input voltage from the ultrasonic probe. To supply input voltages to the voltage monitoring circuit, signal line SLbranches from signal lines SLin the ultrasonic probe and connects the electric circuits and the voltage monitoring circuit to each other by way of the probe connector.
