A modified polyolefin resin may be capable of obtaining an intended adhesion strength regardless of a kind of a base resin thereof even when graft modification is carried out by using an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a cyclic structure. Such a modified polyolefin resin may be a modified product of a polyolefin resin and satisfying (A) and (B): (A): a modifying component includes an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a cyclic structure; and (B): a ring-opening degree expressed by formula (1) is 40 or more:ring-opening degree=modification degree×ring-opening rate  (1),wherein, in formula (1), the modification degree K is a grafting weight (% by weight) of the α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative, and the ring-opening rate R is a ring-opening rate (%) of the cyclic structure in the α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative.

Modified polyolefin resin

A modified polyolefin resin having an intended adhesion strength to various substrates even when graft modification may be carried out by using an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a cyclic structure. The modified polyolefin resin may be a modified product of a polyolefin resin and satisfies conditions (A) to (C): condition (A)—a modifying component includes an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a cyclic structure; condition (B)—a ring-opening degree expressed by formula (1) is 40 or more; and condition (C)—the polyolefin resin includes an ethylene structural unit,ring-opening degree=modification degree×ring-opening rate  (1)wherein, in the formula (1), the modification degree K is a grafting weight (wt. %) of the α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative, and the ring-opening rate R is a ring-opening rate (%) of the cyclic structure in the α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative.

A stage apparatus for a microscope includes a first stage provided on a mirror base of the microscope and fixed to a stage member that moves in an optical axis direction, a second stage that relatively moves over a surface of the first stage in a first direction, a third stage that relatively moves over a surface of the second stage in a second direction, the third stage having a placement portion for placing a microscope slide, and an exterior cover for covering at least a portion of the second stage and the third stage, the exterior cover being fixed to the first stage or the stage member. The exterior cover provides a space for the second stage and the third stage to move, and exposes the placement portion of the third stage.

Provided is method for evaluating a cellulose nanofiber (CNF) dispersion, the method including: (1) a step of preparing 1.0 mass % of a CNF aqueous dispersion; (2) a step of adding a coloring material into the CNF aqueous solution and stirring with a vortex mixer; (3) a step of sandwiching a film of the coloring material-containing CNF aqueous dispersion between two glass plates such that said film has a thickness of 0.15 mm; (4) a step of observing, with a microscope, the film of the coloring material-containing CNF aqueous dispersion sandwiched between the two glass plates; (5) a step of sorting observed aggregates by size (diameter along major axis) thereof; and (6) a step of calculating a CNF dispersion index from the number of sorted aggregates and evaluating the dispersibility of the CNF aqueous dispersion.

Method for evaluating cellulose nanofiber dispersion, cellulose nanofiber aqueous dispersion, and cellulose nanofiber-containing food, cosmetic, and rubber composition

A liquid-contact portion exposed into a measurement tube is provided, and a main body portion formed by covering a base material with a conductor and a terminal portion electrically connected to the conductor are provided. The base material includes first to fifth end surfaces extending in a direction crossing a radial direction of the measurement tube and first to fourth side surfaces extending in the radial direction from end edges of the end surfaces. Grooves each connected at one end thereof to the end surface and at the other end thereof to the side surface are formed on an outer boundary portion, which is a boundary portion between the end surface and the side surface and projects outward of the main body portion.

Herein provided are methods for evaluating cellulose nanofiber dispersions, comprising the steps of: (1) preparing a cellulose nanofiber dispersion; (2) adding a color material into the cellulose nanofiber dispersion; and (3) observing the cellulose nanofiber dispersion to which a colored pigment has been added with a light microscope. The methods allow for easy evaluation of whether or not agglomerates of cellulose nanofibers exist in cellulose nanofiber dispersions, which cannot be visually determined.

Method for evaluating cellulose nanofiber dispersion

A liquid-contact portion exposed into a measurement tube is provided, and a main body portion formed by covering a base material with a conductor is provided. A terminal portion electrically connected to the conductor is provided. The main body portion includes a small diameter portion having a cylindrical shape and being inserted at one end thereof into an electrode insertion hole of the measurement tube, and the one end corresponds to the liquid-contact portion; and a large diameter portion having a disc shape extending outward from the other end of the small diameter portion in a radial direction. The large diameter portion includes an annular groove opened toward inside a measurement, tube, and cutaway's extending outward from the annular groove in the radial direction and opening to an outer peripheral surface of the large diameter portion.

An electropotential detection electrode includes a main body portion including a liquid-contact portion exposed into a measurement tube and formed by covering a base material with a conductor and a terminal portion electrically connected to the conductor. The main body portion includes a small diameter portion having a cylindrical shape and a large diameter portion having a disc shape extending outward from the small diameter portion in a radial direction. A liquid supply device includes a first container storing liquid; a second container to which the liquid is supplied from the first container; at least one flow path to connect the first and second containers; a valve in the flow path to allow or interrupt the flow of the liquid in the flow path by opening or closing the valve; a pump provided to the flow path to transfer the liquid from the first container to the second container; and a control unit to operate the pump under a state in which the valve is opened to transfer the liquid in the first container to the second container, then close the valve and stop the pump, and then open the valve under a state in which the pump is stopped to transfer the liquid in the second container to the first container.

An information processing apparatus which makes it possible to accurately manage a plurality of storage media realized by cooperation with each other while maintaining a combination or combinations thereof, and manage data for each OS. A storage media supporting device removably supporting at least one storage medium is removably attached to the information processing apparatus. When the storage media supporting device is attached to the information processing apparatus, the storage media housed in the storage media supporting device is electrically connected to the information processing apparatus. The contents of data stored in the storage media are detected, and a visible identifier provided on the storage media supporting device is changed into a state corresponding to the detection result.

The object of the invention is to provide a storage device represented by a removable hard disk from which a cartridge having a storage medium is removable, to which cartridges having different specification sizes of the outer shapes can be applied. A cartridge of this invention is detachably loaded in a holder portion for a storage device outside a computer or a storage device incorporated in a computer, and has a storage medium. The cartridge includes a groove which engages with a locking portion provided to the holder portion to releasably lock the cartridge. The groove is formed at a predetermined distance in an inserting/removing direction from an end of the cartridge. This distance is set common for another cartridge which is detachably loaded in the holder portion and has a length different from that of the cartridge in the inserting/removing direction.
