A segment for a rehabilitation pipe is formed of an inner surface plate having an inner circumferential surface, and side plates and end plates provided upright on a peripheral edge of the inner surface plate. The inner surface plate, the side plates, and the end plates are formed integrally from a plastic material, and a number of such segments are linked in circumferential and pipe-length directions to form the rehabilitation pipe. Each of the side plates is provided with at least one hole through which a linking member is inserted for linking the segments in the pipe-length direction, and is provided separately from the hole with an opening at an end in the vicinity of the end plate for a linking operation of the segments in the circumferential direction and for passing therethrough a filler material injected into a space between the existing pipe and the rehabilitation pipe.

Segment for a rehabilitation pipe, and pipe rehabilitation method

A lateral pipe-lining method for lining a lateral pipe that intersects a main pipe. A lateral pipe-lining material has a tubular resin-absorbing material impregnated with a curable resin and has a flange formed at one end thereof. The flange is disposed on an expandable flange-pressing implement. The expandable flange-pressing implement is expanded using a heat medium that is supplied by a first fluid source and that heats the flange of the lateral pipe-lining material to bring the flange into contact with a periphery of a lateral pipe opening of the main pipe. The lateral pipe-lining material is inserted into the lateral pipe using a fluid from a second fluid source different from the first fluid source, and the curable resin impregnated in the tubular resin-absorbing material is cured to line the lateral pipe.

Lateral pipe-lining method

In a pipe rehabilitation method, segments are linked in the circumferential and pipe-length directions to install a rehabilitation pipe inside an existing pipe. Nuts are secured to the segments along the circumferential direction thereof. Linking members each configured to be screwed into one of the secured nuts are inserted into each segment. Each linking member is temporarily locked to the segment to prevent the inserted linking member from falling out of the segment. The segment into which the linking members are inserted and temporarily locked and one of the segments to which the nuts are secured are aligned relative one another, and the linking members are screwed into the respective nuts to fasten both segments together and link them in the pipe-length direction.

Pipe rehabilitation method

A pipe unit for a rehabilitation pipe is used to rehabilitate an existing pipe. The pipe unit has segments mutually linked in a circumferential direction of the pipe unit, and at least one diameter expander for enlarging an inner diameter of the pipe unit. The diameter expander has a thickness in the circumferential direction of the pipe unit and is inserted between an adjacent pair of the mutually linked segments so as to be completely separated from each other by the diameter expander in the circumferential direction and by an amount corresponding to the thickness of the diameter expander.

Rehabilitation pipe and pipe rehabilitation method

A segment for a rehabilitation pipe includes an inner surface plate having an inner circumferential surface, and side plates and end plates provided upright on a peripheral edge of the inner surface plate. The inner surface plate, the side plates, and the end plates are formed integrally from a plastic material. The segments are linked in a circumferential direction and in a pipe-length direction to install a segmental rehabilitation pipe inside an existing pipe. The end plates are provided with an insertion hole through which a linking member is inserted for linking the segments in the circumferential direction. Separately from the insertion hole, the end plates are further provided with an opening for passing therethrough a filler material injected into a space between the existing pipe and the rehabilitation pipe.

A tubular lateral pipe lining material is configured to be inserted into a lateral pipe which intersects with a main pipe in order to repair the lateral pipe. The tubular lateral pipe lining material has a flexible tubular resin-absorbing material impregnated with an uncured curable liquid resin. The tubular resin-absorbing material has one end that is folded back. A flange member, over which the folded-back end of the tubular resin-absorbing material is pressed, is made of a thermoplastic resin. An adhesive is applied over the flange member and the folded-back end of the tubular-absorbing material to bond the tubular resin-absorbing material to the flange member.

Lateral pipe lining material and lateral pipe lining method

A lateral pipe lining material having a flange on one end thereof is installed on a head collar which is hermetically mounted on a pressure bag that stores the lateral pipe lining material. The head collar comprises a curved section and a cylindrical section projecting from the curved section. An expandable member is mounted to the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical section of the head collar, and expanded so that the outer circumferential surface of the expanding member comes into close contact with the inner circumferential surface near the flange, and the inner circumferential surface thereof comes into close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical section of the head collar. This allows a hermetical connection between the lateral pipe lining material and the head collar and ensures a reliable eversion and insertion of the lining material into a lateral pipe.

Lateral pipe lining method and lateral pipe lining apparatus

A rehabilitating pipe segment for assembling a rehabilitating pipe inside an existing pipe. The rehabilitating pipe segment has first and second segment halves connectable together to provide for the rehabilitating pipe segment an internal surface plate and side and end plates surrounding peripheral edges of the internal surface plate. The first and second segment halves are configured to move relative to one another in a width direction of the rehabilitating pipe segment corresponding to a pipe length direction of the rehabilitating pipe so that the first and second pipe segment halves expand and contract to make the width of the rehabilitating pipe segment variable in the width direction of the rehabilitating pipe segment.

Rehabilitating pipe segment and existing pipe rehabilitation method using same

A linking tool links segments for a rehabilitating pipe for rehabilitating an existing pipeline. The segment is integrally formed at least from an internal surface plate that constitutes the inner circumferential surface of the rehabilitating pipe, and side plates that have an insertion hole formed thereon and are disposed on both sides of the internal surface plate so as to extend in the circumferential direction of the rehabilitating pipe. The linking tool includes a tubular linking pin that is separable into pin halves and can be inserted into the insertion hole in the side plate of a first segment with a part of the linking pin remaining outside the first segment. The linking tool further includes a separating pin that can be inserted into the linking pin to separate the linking pin into the pin halves and press them against the first segment for anchoring thereto. The pin halves remaining outside the first segment are snap-fitted into a second segment through the insertion hole of the side plate thereof, thereby linking the first and second segments in the longitudinal direction of the rehabilitating pipe. Such a linking tool allows the segments to be efficiently linked in a short period of time.

Method for linking segments and linking tool

An existing-pipe rehabilitation method for constructing a rehabilitation pipe inside an existing pipe to rehabilitate the existing pipe. A rehabilitation pipe is constructed inside an existing pipe by coupling segments in the circumferential direction and the lengthwise direction of the existing pipe so that the rehabilitation pipe has a constant outer diameter. A lining material impregnated with a liquid curable resin is inserted into the rehabilitation pipe thus constructed. The liquid curable resin is cured to line the internal circumferential surface of the rehabilitation pipe with the lining material so that an inner diameter of the rehabilitation pipe lined with the lining material is smaller than an inner diameter of the existing pipe.

Method for rehabilitating existing pipes, and rehabilitation pipe segment used in the rehabilitating method

Segments are linked in the circumferential and pipe length directions to assemble a rehabilitating pipe inside an existing pipe in order to rehabilitate the existing pipe. A plurality of nuts are secured to the segments along the circumferential direction thereof. A fastening member having a screw part is provided which is screwed into the nut to fasten a first segment to a second segment to which the nut is secured, thereby linking the first and second segments in the pipe length direction thereof. The position of the nut in the first segment is offset as viewed in the circumferential direction from the nut position of the second segment. The arrangement of the fastening members and the nuts is staggered as viewed in its entirety. This allows the connection strength of the segments in the pipe length direction to be made uniform.

Existing pipe rehabilitation method

A lining material has a flexible tubular lining material impregnated with a thermosetting resin and having first and second sides. A first elastic and rigid strip member is removably attached to the first side of the flexible tubular lining material so as to extend along a substantially entire length of the flexible tubular lining material. A second elastic and rigid strip member is removably attached to the second side of the flexible tubular lining material so as to extend along the substantially entire length of the flexible tubular lining material. A third elastic and rigid strip member is attached to one end of the flexible tubular lining material and to the first and second elastic and rigid strip members.

Lining material and pipeline lining method

To line an inner circumferential surface of side walls of a manhole, a rehabilitating sheet made of a sheet material resistant to water and corrosion is provided in the form of a bag having a shape corresponding to the inner circumferential surface to be lined. The rehabilitating sheet is inserted into the manhole to be lined. Block and plate frames are coupled inside the bag of the rehabilitating sheet to support it so as to have the shape corresponding to the inner circumferential surface to be lined. A gap between the rehabilitating sheet and the inner circumferential surface of the side walls of the manhole is filled with a filler, which is then hardened to line the side walls of the manhole. Pairs of plate frames having different diameters are coupled to each other to provide ring plates having different diameters. The ring plates are stacked one by one from the maximum one to support the rehabilitating sheet so as to have a shape of the inner circumferential surface of the inclined side wall portion of the manhole.

Method for rehabilitating a manhole

A rehabilitating pipe for repairing an existing pipe has pipe units that are mutually coupled in a longitudinal direction of the existing pipe. Each of the pipe units has segments that are mutually coupled in a circumferential direction of the existing pipe. Each of the segments has an inner-surface plate and an outer-wall plate extending vertically from and around an entire perimeter of the inner-surface plate. The outer-wall plate has lateral plates extending along a longitudinal direction of the inner-surface plate and end plates connected between the respective lateral plates. Connecting members couple the segments together in the circumferential direction to assemble the pipe unit. A restraining member is attached to and encircles an outer circumference of the assembled pipe unit to restrain the pipe unit.

Rehabilitating pipe for repairing existing pipe and method for repairing existing pipe

In a pipeline lining method, a tubular lining material impregnated with a thermosetting resin is inserted in an everted state into a pipeline and expanded and pressed against an inner peripheral surface of the pipeline. A vapor mist and water at normal temperature are sprayed toward the tubular lining material and mixed together to cool the vapor mist. The cooled vapor mist is directed onto the tubular lining material to cure the thermosetting resin impregnated in the tubular lining material to line the pipeline with the tubular lining material.
