A vehicle seat is provided which includes a seat base detachably mounted on a vehicle floor, a seat cushion detachably provided on the seat base, and a backrest foldably supported on the seat base. The seat cushion is detached from the seat base, and the seat cushion and the seat base with the backrest folded are juxtaposed to be stored in a recess provided in the vehicle floor or an area under another seat. In the case of non-use, the vehicle seat can be removed from the vehicle floor to be efficiently stored inside a vehicle. A vehicle seat storing structure and a vehicle seat structure are also provided.

Vehicle seat, vehicle seat storage structure and vehicle seat structure

A foldable and storable seat for a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle seat includes a seat cushion pivotally supported at a rear portion thereof to a vehicle floor by a pair of spaced apart base brackets, cooperating members for causing a forward portion of the seat cushion to be releasably supported to the vehicle floor, a seat back pivotally supported to the seat cushion, recliner devices for releasably locking the seat back relative to the seat cushion, the seat cushion and the seat back being foldable so as to be put together when the seat back is released from the seat cushion by the recliner devices, and a linkage mechanism mounted to the seat cushion, the linkage mechanism including a first linkage section for causing the recliner devices to be actuated synchronously with pivotal movement of the vehicle seat, and the first linkage section being coupled to one of the base brackets and the recliner devices.

Foldable and storable seat for vehicle

A detachable seat for a vehicle, includes a seat cushion, a seat leg mechanism for supporting the seat cushion, the seat leg mechanism including a base member on which the seat cushion is carried, and first and second spaced apart leg members pivotally connected to the base member, a seat back pivotally mounted to the base member of the seat leg mechanism, a first cooperating mechanism on the first and second leg members and a vehicle floor for causing the seat to be releasably locked with the vehicle floor, and a second cooperating mechanism on the base member and the seat cushion for causing the seat cushion to be removably or detachably mounted with respect to the base member.

Detachable seat for vehicle

An operator opens the tail gate, and stretches his/her arm through the tail gate to make the seat back fall down forward. Then, the operator can pull the pull fitting to make both the seat back and the seat cushion turn over backward so as to be received in the storage concave portion. Accordingly, this design allows an operator to perform the rear seat rearrangement in a very easy posture from the outside of a car.

Seat storage structure for a passenger car

A seat arrangement for a vehicle comprises a floor having a first section, a second section, and a third section, arranged one behind another while rising stepwise from another section in front, a first row seat disposed on the first section of the floor, a second row seat which is disposed on the second section of the floor in use, and which is foldable forward so as to be in substantially a level state, a third row seat which is disposed on the third section of the floor in use, and which is rotatable backward along with an associated seat base so as to be in substantially in a level state. A luggage compartment having a flat bottom is formed when the second row seat is folded, and the third row seat is rotated backward.

Seat arrangement for vehicle

A vehicle seat wherein left and right seat backs are attached to left and right seat cushions, respectively, in such a manner as to be folded up thereon. A support shaft is provided on the left and right seat cushions for allowing the left and right seat cushions and the left and right seat backs folded up on the left and right seat cushions to be rotated toward the rear of a vehicle individually. The seat cushions and the seat backs so rotated about the support shaft are stored in a recessed portion in a vehicle body floor. The support shaft is provided on the vehicle body floor so that the support shaft is supported in the vicinity of edge portions of the recessed portion.

A seat includes a seat supporting carrier. A seat cushion is pivotally mounted on the carrier. The carrier has a swing arm pivotally attached thereto. A seat back is pivotally mounted to the swing arm. The seat cushion is pivotable on a first pivot axis P between a laid position and an erected position. The swing aim is pivotable on a second pivot axis P between a laid position and and erected position. The seat back is pivotable on a third pivot axis between a laid position and an erected position. When the seat back is in the erected position and the seat cushion is in the laid position, the third pivot axis is positioned higher than the first and second pivot axes. The seat back, by pivoting from the erected position to the laid position, lies on the seat cushion held in the laid position.

Storable/slidable vehicular seat apparatus includes a seat with a seat base that can be flipped upwardly via a pivot to be stored against a wall of a vehicle compartment. The seat base is slidable in a front-and-rear direction of a vehicle bodywork. The seat base is pivotally attached at its one side to the vehicle bodywork. Leg member is secured to the underside of the seat base via a second slider and second sliding rail. When the seat base is flipped upwardly via the pivot, the leg member, second slider and second sliding rail are moved upwardly and stored together with the seat base.

Storable/slidable seat apparatus for vehicles

A storage structure stores a motor vehicle seat which has a seat cushion and a seatback foldable against the seat cushion and movable in a longitudinal direction of a motor vehicle. The storage structure has a fixed rail fixed to the motor vehicle, a movable rail movable along the fixed rail for longitudinal positioning adjustment of the seat, a holding mechanism disposed on a longitudinal end of the movable rail and the seat cushion, for fixing the seat cushion to the movable rail, and a pivot hinge disposed between an opposite longitudinal end of the movable rail and an engaging portion of the fixed rail, for allowing the seat cushion to swing thereabout with the seat cushion being released by the holding mechanism.
