According to an aspect, a display device with a touch detection function includes: a substrate; a drive electrode that extends in a first direction; and a plurality of touch detection electrodes that are metal wirings extending in a second direction different from the first direction. The metal wirings are arranged with a predetermined pitch so as to make capacitive coupling with the drive electrode.

According to an aspect, a display device with a touch detecting function includes: a display area in which pixels each composed of a plurality of color areas are arranged in a matrix; a touch detection electrode including a first conductive thin wire extending in a first direction; and a dummy electrode including a plurality of second conductive thin wires; a drive electrode having capacitance for the touch detection electrode. Each of the second conductive thin wires includes a plurality of thin wire pieces extending in a direction different from the first direction and is divided by a slit between the thin wire pieces. A color area in the display area with which the slit overlaps has a different color from a color area in the display area with which a slit closest to the slit in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction overlaps.

A touch panel, a display panel, and a display unit achieving prevention of erroneous detection caused by external noise. The touch panel includes: a plurality of detection scan electrodes extending in a first direction and a plurality of detection electrodes facing the plurality of detection scan electrodes and extending in a second direction which intersects the first direction. A sensor device is provided and includes electrodes each including first parts arranged in a first direction and a second part connected to the first parts, the first parts each having a first mesh shape which is formed of first metal wires, and the second part having a second mesh shape which is formed of second metal wires, wherein a longitudinal direction of the second part is the first direction, and at least one of the first mash shape and the second mash shape has an intersection portion at which two of the first metal wires or two of the second metal wires intersect.

Sensor device

A sensor-equipped display device is provided and includes a display panel and a detection electrode. The panel includes a display area in which pixels are arranged with a first pixel pitch in a first direction and a second pixel pitch in a second direction. The electrode includes an pattern having line fragments. The pattern has connection points at which ends of the fragments are connected to each other, and at least part of the connection points is arranged linearly such that an arrangement gaps thereof in the first and second direction is set to a first and second connection point pitch.

Sensor device and sensor-equipped display device including detection electrode

According to one embodiment, a touch detection device includes first detection electrodes in a detection area, second detection electrodes in the detection area, extending to intersect the first detection electrodes, first control lines connected to the first detection electrodes, respectively, and provided in a non-detection area, and second control lines connected to the second detection electrodes, respectively, and provided in the non-detection area. The second control lines overlap the first control lines at a plurality of positions as seen in plan view, such that areas of overlapping portions in which the first control lines overlap the second control lines are substantially equalized.
