The propagation of radio waves in indoor and outdoor mobile communications is improved. An electromagnetic wave reflector includes: a panel having a reflecting surface and configured to reflect a radio wave of a desired band selected from frequency bands ranging from 1 GHz to 170 GHz; and a support supporting the panel, and, in this electromagnetic wave reflector, the support has a conductive frame and a non-conductive cover that covers at least part of the frame, and the frame has a slit and a hollow, the slit receiving an end part of the panel, and the hollow being independent of the slit.

An electromagnetic wave reflector includes a panel having a reflective surface that reflects a radio wave of a frequency band selected from 1 GHz to 170 GHz, and a support body that supports the panel. The support body has a connector part electrically connected to the reflective surface, the connector part being configured to propagate a reference potential of a reflection having occurred at the reflective surface.

A windshield includes a glass plate; a dielectric; an electrothermal layer that is disposed between the glass plate and the dielectric, and includes a conductive layer and strip electrodes having a resistance lower than a resistance of the conductive layer; and an antenna including a pair of electrodes disposed to face the electrothermal layer across the dielectric, and a slot at least a part of which is formed in one of the strip electrodes such that the slot is disposed between the pair of electrodes in plan view. The strip electrodes are disposed along at least two opposing outer edges of the conductive layer and are DC-coupled to the conductive layer such that the conductive layer is energized via the strip electrodes. One end of the slot is an open end that is open at an outer edge of the electrothermal layer.

A multiband antenna includes a feeding element connected to a feeding point, a radiating element functioning as a radiating conductor, the radiating element being positioned apart from the feeding element and fed with electric power by electromagnetically coupling to the feeding element, a ground plane, and a non-feeding element being positioned close to the radiating element and connected to the ground plane via a reactance element. The reactance element has a reactance that causes the multiband antenna to match with a frequency other than a resonance frequency of a resonance mode of the radiating element.

Vehicle window glass include a glass plate, a dielectric, a conductive film, placed between the glass plate and the dielectric, and an antenna including a pair of electrodes. The conductive film, includes a pair of facing parts that faces the electrodes across the dielectric, a main slot, and a pair of sub slots. The main slot has, at one end, an open end open at an outer edge of the conductive film, and is formed between the facing parts. Each sub slot has, at one end, an open end open at the outer edge of the conductive film. One of the sub slots connects, at the other end, to the main slot so as to surround one of the facing parts. The other of the sub slots connects, at the other end, to the main slot so as to surround the other of the facing parts.
