A switching element with a small current capacity is provided to be able to be used in a DC-DC converter. The DC-DC converter includes a switching circuit in which a first switching element, a second switching element, a third switching element, and a fourth switching element are connected in series, a flying capacitor that is connected between a connection portion between the first switching element and the second switching element and a connection portion between the third switching element and the fourth switching element, a reactor that is connected between a connection portion between the second switching element and the third switching element and a positive electrode of an input unit, and a control circuit that turns on/off the switching element, in which the control circuit turns on/off the switching elements so that a peak value in a reactor current becomes equal to or smaller than a predetermined value.

DC-DC converter

A first tag communication apparatus is adapted to perform radio communications with a second tag communication apparatus and an RFID tag provided on a moving object. A controller is operable to cause an antenna to transmit first radio waves while changing a first direction that the first radio waves are transmitted. A receiver is operable to receive a second radio waves transmitted from the second tag communication apparatus. An extractor is operable to extract, from the second radio waves, synchronizing information indicative of a timing that the second tag communication apparatus changes a second direction that the second radio waves are transmitted therefrom. A synchronizer is operable to synchronize a timing that the controller changes the first direction with the timing that the second tag communication apparatus changes the second direction, based on the synchronizing information.

Tag communication apparatus and tag communication system

A planar antenna able to secure a wide frequency band and having high reliability. Therefore, the planar antenna has at least a grounding plate, a radiating conductor, a matching portion, a power supply portion, a spacer, a central conductor and a coaxial connector. The matching portion is a flat plate having a taper shape (an inverse taper shape) narrowed in width from the power supply portion to the radiating conductor. Further, the matching portion is slantingly arranged with respect to the grounding plate.
