The main body detection terminal is electrically connected to the cartridge detection terminal in the case where the cartridge is attached to the main body frame. The controller is configured to perform determining whether the main body detection terminal and the cartridge detection terminal are electrically connected with each other. The controller is configured to perform displaying a determination result of the determining whether the main body detection terminal and the cartridge detection terminal are electrically connected with each other on the display.

An electric device, including a chassis and an operation panel, is provided. The operation panel is disposed on a face of the chassis and has one end and the other end opposite from the one end. The operation panel includes a first capacitive touch switch configured to be responsive to a touch and a second capacitive touch switch configured to be responsive to a touch. The first capacitive touch switch has a first sensitivity for responding to the touch, and the second capacitive touch switch has a second sensitivity for responding to the touch. The second capacitive touch switch is arranged in a position closer to the one end of the operation panel than the first capacitive touch switch, and the second sensitivity of the second capacitive touch switch is lower than the first sensitivity of the first capacitive touch switch.

An image-displaying device includes a storing unit and a displaying unit. The storing unit stores correlation data between a plurality of thumbnails and a sequence of the plurality of thumbnails. The displaying unit is capable of displaying a predetermined maximum number of thumbnails based on the correlation data. Inputting apparatus

An image processor enabling a user to quickly select desired images from a large number of images without scrolling repeatedly through the images. The image processor assigns image numbers to segments of a scroll bar and displays image data corresponding to an image number assigned at the position on the scroll bar pressed by the user. The image processor also reduces the number of image numbers assigned per segment of the scroll bar near the image number at the pressed position on the scroll bar to facilitate the user in specifying a desired image through a subsequent input operation.

An image-displaying device includes a storing unit and a displaying unit. The storing unit stores first correlation data and second correlation data. The first correlation data indicates a plurality of first thumbnails including a plurality of first display thumbnails and also indicates a sequence of the plurality of first thumbnails. Telephone communication device

The ink cartridge has a first detection target portion for detecting ink level and a second detection target portion for identifying the type of an ink cartridge. The ink level detection device uses an optical sensor to scan the first and second detection target portions of the ink cartridge, and detects ink level and the type of the ink cartridge, that is, whether the ink cartridge is containing standard amount of ink or large amount of ink. Therefore, the number of image formation on recording media can be estimated, and failure in image formation due to a shortage of ink in the middle of image formation can be inhibited.
