Provided are: a geared motor with which a large torque can be obtained without an increase in size; and a method for producing said geared motor. In this geared motor (), an output member () having a helical groove () formed in an outer circumferential section is provided between a first plate part () and a second plate part () of a frame (), and the rotation of a motor pinion () is reduced in speed by a reduction gear mechanism () and is transmitted to a gear part () of the output member (). In this geared motor (): the output member () is arranged between the first plate part () and the second plate part (); then, a first fixing shaft () is inserted from a through hole () in the second plate part () into a shaft hole () in the output member (), and a first shaft end part () is fitted into a first fixing shaft support hole (); and then, a second shaft end part () and the second plate part () are fixed.

Geared motor and manufacturing method for geared motor

Provided is a geared motor with which a large torque can be obtained without an increase in size. In this geared motor (), an output member () having a helical groove () formed in an outer circumferential section is provided between a first plate part () and a second plate part () of a frame (), and the rotation of a motor pinion () fixed to a rotary shaft () is reduced in speed by transmission gears of a reduction gear mechanism () and is transmitted to a gear part () of the output member (). Thus, a large torque can be output, even when the gear part () of the output member () is made smaller than the outer diameter of the section () provided with the helical groove (). Also, even when a gear cover () is provided, a lateral plate part () of the gear cover () covering the outer circumferential section of the gear part () of the output member () is located close to the rotation center axis of the output member (). Thus, it is possible to prevent the geared motor () from being increased in size by the gear cover ().
