The present invention provides a nonaqueous electrolytic solution capable of improving electrochemical characteristics in the case of using an energy storage device at a high temperature and at a high voltage and further capable of inhibiting the gas generation while maintaining a capacity retention rate after storage at a high temperature and at a high voltage and also provides an energy storage device using the same. Disclosed is a nonaqueous electrolytic solution having an electrolyte salt dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent, the nonaqueous electrolytic solution containing a carboxylic acid ester compound represented by the following general formula (I). In the formula, each of Rand Rindependently represents a hydrogen atom, a &#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014;ORgroup, or the like, and Rand Rmay be bonded to each other to form a ring structure. Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or the like, and n represents an integer of 1 to 3. When n is 1, then L and Rrepresent an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or the like; and when n is 2 or 3, then L represents an n-valent connecting group, X represents a &#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014; group, an &#x2014;S(&#x2550;O)&#x2014; group, an &#x2014;S(&#x2550;O)&#x2014; group, an &#x2014;S(&#x2550;O)&#x2014;R&#x2014;S(&#x2550;O)&#x2014; group or a CRRgroup, Rrepresents an alkylene group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and each of Rand Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms.

The present invention relates to a nonaqueous electrolytic solution having an electrolyte salt dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent, the nonaqueous electrolytic solution containing 0.1 to 5% by mass of a compound represented by the following general formula (I) and an energy storage device including the foregoing nonaqueous electrolytic solution. This nonaqueous electrolytic solution is able to improve charging storage properties and discharging storage properties of an energy storage device when used in the high-temperature and high-voltage environment.  In the formula, Rand Reach independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.

Nonaqueous electrolyte solution and electricity storage device using same

The present invention provides a non-aqueous electrolytic solution for a lithium secondary battery or a lithium ion capacitor, wherein the non-aqueous electrolytic solution includes a lithium salt as dissolved in a non-aqueous solvent in a concentration of 0.8 to 1.5 M (mol/L), the non-aqueous solvent includes, in relation to the whole of the non-aqueous solvent, 5 to 25% by volume of ethylene carbonate, 5 to 25% by volume of propylene carbonate, 20 to 30% by volume of dimethyl carbonate, 20 to 40% by volume of methyl ethyl carbonate, and 10 to 20% by volume of a fluorinated chain ester; the total content of ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate in the non-aqueous solvent is 20 to 30% by volume, the total content of dimethyl carbonate and the fluorinated chain ester in the non-aqueous solvent is 30 to 40% by volume; and the flash point of the non-aqueous electrolytic solution is 20&#xb0; C. or higher, and the present invention also provides an energy storage device.

Non-aqueous electrolytic solution for lithium secondary battery or lithium ion capacitor, and lithium secondary battery or lithium ion capacitor using the same

The present teaching provides a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery provided with a non-aqueous electrolyte solution having a composition able to achieve high battery performance even in an extremely low temperature region (for example, &#x2212;30&#xb0; C. or lower). The non-aqueous electrolyte solution disclosed herein contains, as non-aqueous solvents, ethylene carbonate (EC), propylene carbonate (PC), dimethyl carbonate (DMC), ethyl methyl carbonate (EMC) and ethyl propionate (EP), and when the total volume of the non-aqueous solvents is 100 vol. %, the content of EC is 20 to 30 vol. %, the content of PC is 5 to 10 vol. %, the content of EP is 5 to 10 vol. %, and the content of DMC+EMC is 50 to 70 vol. %.

Non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery

Provided are a nonaqueous electrolytic solution having an electrolyte salt dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent, the electrolyte salt including at least one first lithium salt selected from LiPF, LiBF, LiN(SOF), LiN(SOCF), and LiN(SOCF), and at least one second lithium salt selected from a lithium salt having an oxalate structure, a lithium salt having a phosphate structure, and a lithium salt having an S&#x2550;O group, with a sum total of the first lithium salt and the second lithium salt being four or more, and an energy storage device using the same. This nonaqueous electrolytic solution is not only able to improve electrochemical characteristics at a high temperature and much more improve a discharge capacity retention rate and low-temperature output characteristics after a high-temperature storage test but also able to improve low-temperature input characteristics even for high-density electrodes.

The polyimide binder for energy storage device, which is a polyimide obtained by subjecting an aqueous solution of a polyamic acid composed of a repeating unit represented by the following general formula (I) to an imidization reaction, the polyimide having a tensile elastic modulus of 1.5 GPa or more and 2.7 GPa or less.  In the formula, A is a tetravalent group resulting from eliminating a carboxyl group from a specified tetracarboxylic acid, and B is a divalent group resulting from eliminating an amino group from a specified diamine, provided that 55 mol % or more of B in a total amount of the repeating unit is the divalent group resulting from eliminating an amino group from an aliphatic diamine having a molecular weight of 500 or less.

A non-aqueous electrolytic solution comprising a non-aqueous solvent and an electrolyte, which further contains a combination of a nitrile compound and an S&#x2550;O group-containing compound (or a dinitrile compound) in an amount of 0.001 to 10 wt. % imparts improved cycle performance and storage property to a lithium battery, particularly a lithium secondary battery.

The present invention provides a nonaqueous electrolytic solution capable of improving electrochemical characteristics in a broad temperature range and an energy storage device using the same.
