Each of four outer side surfaces of each of a plurality of square pipes include a groove portion formed along a longitudinal direction of each of the plurality of square pipes and a pair of ridge line portions forming edge portions on both sides of the groove portion. An additional member includes a contact plane which is a plane in contact with a portion of the plurality of square pipes. The additional member is fixed to a plurality of first target pipes which are some of the plurality of square pipes with the contact plane in contact with at least one of the pair of ridge line portions, or the additional member is fixed to a second target pipe which is one of the plurality of square pipes with the contact plane in contact with the pair of ridge line portions.

Structure and image forming apparatus

A structure includes a plurality of joined square pipes. Four corner portions of each of the plurality of square pipes include three first corner portions and one second corner portion. The three first corner portions are formed by bending a single metal plate. The one second corner portion includes two edge portions of the metal plate and a welded portion where the two edge portions are joined.

In order to provide an image reading apparatus of which a contact glass sheet can be replaced and recycled with ease without damaging the contact glass sheet when removing the same, and further intrusion of particles of dust into the apparatus when operating the apparatus can be prevented, an image reading apparatus having an image reading unit mounted to be able to be reciprocated in a frame body of the apparatus and a contact glass sheet is composed such that; the frame body comprises an upward-open lower frame in which the image reading unit is accommodated to be able to be reciprocated and an upper frame having an opening on the upper face thereof to be covered with the contact glass sheet, the upper and lower frames are assembled detachably by means of fitting portions provided to both frames, the contact glass sheet is attached to said upper frame by means of a strip-shaped adhesive member glued onto the undersurface of the upper frame along the brim part of the opening to be covered with the contact glass sheet, the strip-shaped adhesive member is glued onto the undersurface of the upper frame so that the strip is not continuous but partially interrupted to provide interrupted parts, and the glass sheet supports protruding from the lower frame are positioned to support the contact glass sheet at the position corresponding to the interrupted parts of the strip-shaped adhesive member.

Image reading apparatus

A frame structure includes a base plate, and a pair of side plates. The base platehas a bottom surface, and an attachment edgeformed by drawing the edge of the base place downward around the entire periphery of the bottom surface. The pair of side platesis attached on the attachment edgeof the base plate, and serves to support components used by an image forming device in image formation.

A color printer is disclosed which includes a photosensitive drum, a rotary developing device, a laser unit, a toner container, and a toner supply device. The rotary developing device is located adjacent to the photosensitive drum and includes a plurality of developing units corresponding to a plurality of colors. The laser unit is located above the photosensitive drum and on the rear side in the device. The toner container is located above the photosensitive drum and on the front side in the device. The toner container contains each color toner to be supplied to each of the developing units. The toner supply device is located above the photosensitive drum and between the laser unit and the toner container. The toner supply device supplies each of the developing units with each of color toners contained in the toner container.
