A transmission mode control system includes a control device that controls a transmission mode of a vehicle and a first input device that accepts a switching operation of switching from an automatic transmission mode to a manual transmission mode. The control device includes a processor and a memory. The processor executes a process including: switching the transmission mode from the manual transmission mode to the automatic transmission mode when a switching time elapses after an operation of the first input device by a driver of the vehicle; and extending the switching time by a set time when the driver performs, within a post-switching determination time after the switching time elapses, a certain operation that causes a gear ratio to change in the same direction as a change of gear ratio when the gear shift is executed in response to the operation by the driver before the switching time elapses.

Transmission mode control system

A shift mode control system includes a control apparatus that controls a shift mode of a vehicle, a first operation device that receives a first operation to switch an automatic mode to a manual mode, and a second operation device that receives a second operation to switch the manual mode to the automatic mode. The control apparatus includes a processor that calculates a speed ratio change amount that is a difference between a first speed ratio set when the automatic mode is switched to the manual mode in accordance with the first operation and a second speed ratio set when the manual mode is switched to the automatic mode in accordance with the second operation. The processor updates the speed ratio change amount set as a switching condition for automatically switching the manual mode to the automatic mode to the speed ratio change amount calculated by the processor.

Shift mode control system

A control apparatus of a transmission includes a hydraulic pressure circuit, an abnormality detector, and a controller. The transmission performs shifting operation of the transmission. The controller controls the shifting operation by controlling, as a first control operation, a control pressure adjusting value to allow a line pressure and a control pressure to have a correlation with each other and by using, as a value of the line pressure, a value calculated on a basis of a detected value of the control pressure. The controller controls the shifting operation by controlling, as a second control operation, the control pressure adjusting valve to allow the line pressure and the control pressure to have a correlation with each other and by using, as a value of the control pressure, a value calculated on a basis of a detected value of the line pressure.

Transmission, control apparatus of transmission, and method of controlling transmission

A control apparatus of a continuously variable transmission includes a shifting controller and a detector. The continuously variable transmission includes a hydraulic pressure supplier and a continuously variable transmission unit. The continuously variable transmission unit is able to perform continuously variable shifting by a hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic pressure supplier. The shifting controller causes, when the detector detects an abnormality, the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic pressure supplier to fall within a range that is equal to or greater than a first value and less than a second value. The first value is a value at which minimal operation performed by the continuously variable transmission unit is available. The second value is a value upon normal operation before the detector detects the abnormality.

Control apparatus of continuously variable transmission, continuously variable transmission, and method of controlling continuous variable transmission

A control apparatus of a transmission includes the transmission that is configured to perform shifting operation with use of a control pressure derived from an actuating oil to be supplied to a hydraulic pressure unit. The control apparatus includes a hydraulic pressure supply source, a switcher, a control pressure adjusting valve, an abnormality detector, and a controller. The controller is configured to control the shifting operation of the transmission to keep a revolution speed of an engine, in an abnormal period in which an abnormality of the switcher is detected by the abnormality detector, at a value that is equal to or greater than an abnormal lower limit value. The abnormal lower limit value is higher than a normal lower limit value in a normal period. The normal period is prior to the detection of abnormality of the switcher by the abnormality detector.

Control apparatus of transmission and method of controlling transmission

[Object] To provide a shift control device that, in a shift control device of a vehicle equipped with an idling-stop mechanism and a shift-by-wire mechanism, is capable of preventing setting off at a timing that the driver does not expect when returning from an idling-stop state. [Solution] The SBW-CU () that constitutes the shift control device (), in the case of selection information for selecting the R range being output during an idling stop, switches the shift range of the automatic transmission () to the R range when the vehicle is braked, and switches the shift range to the N range or the P range when the vehicle is not braked and the shift range of the automatic transmission () is the D range. Also, the SBW-CU (), in the case of selection information for selecting the R range being output during an idling stop, maintains the shift range without switching it when the vehicle is braked and the shift range of the automatic transmission () is other than the D range.

Shift control device

A shift-by-wire control device includes a first detector, a second detector, an auto parking control unit, and a malfunction determining unit. The first and second detectors respectively detect first and second vehicle states attributed to behaviors of a driver. The auto parking control unit executes an auto parking control irrespective of a state of the shift range selected by the shift lever, on conditions that detection results derived from the first and second detectors satisfy respective predetermined conditions. The malfunction determining unit determines that the first detector is malfunctioning, on a condition that the first detector fails to detect a change in the first vehicle state. The auto parking control unit refrains from executing the auto parking control, on a condition that the first detector is determined by the malfunction determining unit as malfunctioning.

Shift-by-wire control device

A shift-by-wire control apparatus includes: a first detector that detects a first vehicle state; a second detector that detects a second vehicle state; an auto parking controller that executes an auto parking control irrespective of a state of a shift range, on conditions that detection results derived from the first and second detectors satisfy respective predetermined conditions; and a malfunction determining unit that determines that the first detector is malfunctioning, on a condition that the first detector fails to detect a change in the first vehicle state. The auto parking controller executes, based on the detection result derived from the second detector, the auto parking control irrespective of the detection result derived from the first detector, on a condition that the first detector is determined by the malfunction determining unit as malfunctioning.
