A coating film obtained from a composition containing a polyaspartic acid ester and a fluoropolymer. Also disclosed is fluorine-containing coating film including a urethane bond and a urea bond, and exhibiting a corrosion from scribe of 1 mm or shorter. Both coating films have a thickness of 100 to 1000 &#x3bc;m. Also disclosed is a laminate including a base and one or the other of the coating films.

Provided is a polymer capable of providing a coating film that has good initial adhesiveness to a base material and good adhesiveness thereto after a pressure cooker test, and has excellent abrasion resistance as determined by a falling sand abrasion test. The polymer includes a perhaloolefin unit, a vinyl ester unit that contains neither a hydroxy group nor an aromatic ring; and a hydroxy group-containing monomer unit. The polymer has a hydroxyl value of 110 mgKOH/g or greater.

An amino group-containing metal compound such as a coupling agent having an amino group is dispersed in a fluoroelastomer coating composition comprising a fluoroelastomer and a polyol curing agent which are dissolved or dispersed in a liquid medium. The resulting fluoroelastomer coating composition can form an elastomer coating layer directly on a metal surface using no primer, and improve antifreeze resistance and deterioration of the coating film after compression at high temperatures for a long time.

The present invention provides a resin aqueous dispersion composition comprising water and at least one kind of resin particle, wherein when a primary average particle of each resin particle is taken as a sphere of the same volume, a nonionic surfactant is present in the composition in an amount which occupies 75 to 95% of a theoretical void among resin particles of 26% when each resin particle is arranged in a close packed structure. The nonionic surfactant is a solvent which is substantially nonvolatile in a temperature range of up to 100&#xb0; C. and evaporates or thermally decomposes at a temperature lower than the thermal decomposition temperature of the resin particles. The resin aqueous dispersion composition can be coated thickly and can prevent development of mud crack.

The present invention relates to an aqueous dispersion composition of fluororesin for coating comprising (A) fluororesin particles, (B) a nitrogen-free high boiling point polyol having a boiling point of at least 100&#xb0; C. and containing at least 2 hydroxyl groups, (C) depolymerizable acrylic resin particles having a decomposition and vaporization temperature within a temperature range of up to the decomposition temperature of said fluororesin particles, (D) a nonionic surfactant, and (E) an aqueous medium, wherein the high boiling point polyol (B) and the depolymerizable acrylic resin particles (C) are respectively contained in an amount of 5 to 18 parts by mass and 5 to 25 parts by mass based on 100 parts by mass of fluororesin particles (A) and an oxidant and an amine-type solvent are not contained. This composition is an aqueous dispersion composition of fluororesin for coating, which has favorable storage stability, can be coated thickly, controls development of mud crack and can form a coating film in which cracking and coloring do not occur when baking. Also, the composition controls discharge of endocrine disrupter substances as much as possible.

An aqueous fluoroelastomer curable composition comprising an aqueous fluoroelastomer dispersion and a basic polyol curing agent, and an article having a coating film formed from this composition. The aqueous fluoroelastomer curable composition has a long pot life although it is a one-fluid type aqueous dispersion, and forms a cured film having sufficient strength and heat resistance at a relatively low temperature in a short time.
