The method further including measuring a subset of the received plurality of reference signals. The method further including transmitting, to the base station within a first time interval, a channel status report corresponding to the measuring of the subset of the received plurality of reference signals and a prediction of one more reference signals received by the UE after the first time interval.

The method may include assigning, by the network element, one or more transaction beam ID, each of the one or more transaction beam ID being associated with a respective repeater from the one or more repeaters in the telecommunication network; generating, by the network element, a positioning reference relationship table, the positioning reference relationship table including a relationship between a positioning reference signal ID and each of the one or more transaction beam ID, and receiving, by a core element, an adjusted position of the user device, the adjusted position of the user device being adjusted for a location of a specific repeater between the network element and the user device.

System, method, device, and program for positioning enhancement in environment with repeaters

A method for adaptive positioning accuracy of devices in a telecommunication network may be provided. The method may be performed by one or more processors and may include transmitting, by a network element of the telecommunication network to a user device, a positioning trigger signal and a positioning reference signal; transmitting, by a user premise equipment to the user device, a sidelink reference signal to the user device; receiving, by the network element, a ranging result report, the ranging result report calculated by the user device including a distance and a timing information associated with signals received by the user device; and transmitting, by the network element to a core network element of the telecommunication network, a position of the user device, wherein the position of the user device is based on a machine learned location inference model and the ranging result report.
