To connect a bus bar plate to a battery module, a plurality of recess portions provided on a plurality of holders so as to be spaced in the stacking direction are engaged with a plurality of projection portions provided on the bus bar plate to be spaced in the stacking direction. Since the lengths 'a' of the plurality of projection portions are the same, and the plurality of recess portions are formed from a first recess portion having a length 'a' and a second recess portion having a length &#x201c;b&#x201d; larger than the length &#x201c;a,&#x201d; the precision of positioning of the bus bar plate can be ensured by engagement between the projecting portion and the first recess portion, and even if the gap between the projecting portions or the recess portions is nonuniform, it is possible to assemble the bus bar plate onto the holder with high precision.

Battery module

A battery unit includes a battery and a battery case which accommodates the battery and which is disposed underneath a floor panel FP, and cooling air is introduced from an air intake port to cool the battery. In the battery case, a cooling space C which communicates with the air intake port is formed separately from a battery accommodation space M which accommodates the battery.

Vehicle battery unit

A battery cooling structure includes a cooling plate and an electrically insulative sheet. The cooling plate is to support a cooling surface of a battery module to cool the battery module including a plurality of battery cells arranged side by side. The electrically insulative sheet has an electrical non-conductivity and is disposed between the cooling surface of the battery module and the cooling plate to transfer heat from the cooling surface to the cooling plate.

Battery cooling structure

A battery cooling structure is provided in which since a battery support member () that is disposed above a lower layer battery group (B, B) and supports an upper layer battery group (B) on its upper face is formed so as to be hollow, and the upper layer battery group (B) is cooled by a cooling medium that flows in an interior of the battery support member (), due to the battery support member () having the dual function of supporting the upper layer battery group (B) and cooling the upper layer battery group (B), it is possible to cut the number of components and simplify the structure. Moreover, since the cooling medium flows in the interior of the battery support member () and does not come into direct contact with the upper layer battery group (B), the upper layer battery group (B) is not contaminated by the cooling medium.

When a battery case () housing a plurality of batteries () is mounted on the vehicle body frame () that includes a cross member () extending in a vehicle width direction, the cross member () of the vehicle body frame () is disposed within the recess portion (b), extending in the vehicle width direction, that is formed in the battery case (), and therefore, it is possible to mount the battery case () while avoiding interference with the cross member (). Although the intermediate part in the fore-and-aft direction of the battery case () housing heavy batteries () is susceptible to downward deformation, it is possible to prevent deformation of the battery case () by fixing the recess portion (b) of the battery case () to the cross member () by fixing means ().

Vehicle mounting structure for batteries

In a structure for mounting a battery pack on a vehicle, even if a battery case housing a plurality of batteries is disposed beneath a floor panel, due to an internal cable within the battery case being disposed above the batteries, it is possible to prevent the internal cable from becoming wet. Furthermore, if the internal cable disposed above the batteries were connected to an external cable via a high voltage connector without changing the height, the height of the floor panel would increase to thus constrain the vehicle compartment space, but since the high voltage connector is disposed at a position that is lower than the upper end of the battery, it is possible to decrease the height of the floor panel by disposing the external cable at a low position, thereby ensuring the vehicle compartment space.

Structure for mounting battery pack on vehicle

A battery cooling structure includes a cooling plate and a heat transfer sheet. The cooling plate is to cool a battery module including a plurality of battery cells arranged side by side. The heat transfer sheet is provided between the cooling plate and a cooling surface of the battery module to transfer heat from the cooling surface to the cooling plate. The heat transfer sheet is deformable by a pressure applied to the heat transfer sheet. The heat transfer sheet includes a positioning hole through which the cooling surface of the battery module is visible when the heat transfer sheet is assembled to the battery module.

In a battery pack for an electric vehicle, since a cooling air suction port () is provided in the vicinity of an end part, on the downstream side in a direction of flow of cooling air, of a battery case () so as to oppose the direction of flow, cooling air is in full contact with the battery case () before flowing into the cooling air suction port (), and dust or water contained in cooling air can be made to adhere to the battery case () and removed, thus preventing dust or water from entering the interior of the battery case (). In particular, since the battery case () includes a projecting portion () that rises on the upstream side in the direction of flow of the cooling air suction port () and disturbs the flow of cooling air, and an upper end of the projecting portion () is at a position higher than that of the cooling air suction port (), it is possible to reliably put cooling air in contact with the projecting portion () of the battery case (), thus enhancing the effect in removing dust or water.

Battery pack for electric vehicle and battery pack mounting structure

To achieve efficient and proper transmission of an impact load from a floor frame on one side of a vehicle body to a floor frame on the other side to thereby protect a battery unit from damage, an automotive floor structure includes a first cross member upper and a first cross member lower. the first cross member upper extends in a lateral direction of the vehicle body and has ends attached to left and right side sills, respectively. The first cross member lower extends in the lateral direction below a front floor panel at a position under the first cross member upper, and has ends secured to the left and right floor frames, respectively. The first cross member upper and the first cross member lower vertically sandwich the battery unit therebetween.

Automotive floor structure

A vehicle battery cooling device, which includes: a battery case for housing a plurality of batteries to be mounted on a vehicle; a fan for circulating air for cooling the batteries by suctioning air in the battery case; an air inlet disposed on each of a pair of side wall portions facing each other for introducing air from outside the battery case; and an air outlet disposed on a bottom wall portion of the battery case for exhausting air from the battery case by suctioning of the fan.

Vehicle battery cooling device

A vehicle body structure includes a body frame with a subframe mounted to a lower part of the body frame. The subframe is formed into a rectangular shape and has front, intermediate and rear cross members. A storage battery is designed to be mounted astride the front cross member and the intermediate cross member.
