A medical information processing system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a first processing circuit configured: to cause a display circuit to display a first image obtained by a medical image diagnosis apparatus; to cause the display circuit to display a plurality of regions classified in correspondence with a plurality of diseases and to display, in each of the plurality of regions, a representative image related to a corresponding one of the diseases; to receive a correspondence operation to bring the first image displayed by the display circuit into correspondence with one of the plurality of regions; and to cause, in response to the correspondence operation, a storage circuit to store therein, with respect to each of the diseases, the first image displayed by the display circuit as a verification requiring image related to the disease corresponding to the region brought into correspondence therewith.

A medical information processing system according to an embodiment includes processing circuitry and a display. On the basis of one of the type of at least one abnormality detection algorithm to which a medical image related to an examined subject is to be input and information relevant to an abnormality detected by inputting the medical image to the abnormality detection algorithm, the processing circuitry judges whether or not urgency is present in a disorder related to the abnormality. When it is determined that the urgency is present, the display displays, in an examination list of examination orders, assessment information related to assessing the abnormality and urgency information indicating the urgency so as to be positioned adjacent to any of the examination orders related to the abnormality.

A medical image processing apparatus of an embodiment includes storage circuitry and setting-condition determining circuitry. The storage circuitry stores information about at least one of a position of a region of interest in a breast, a size of the region of interest, and a size of the breast, the information acquired based on an X-ray image of a breast of a subject. The setting-condition determining circuitry acquires a setting condition in ultrasonographic diagnosis for the breast based on the information about at least one of the position of the region of interest, the size of the region of interest, and the size of the breast.

The setting circuitry is configured to set a region of interest in a three-dimensional image that is generated by emitting X-rays to a breast of a subject and imaging the breast from different directions. The generating circuitry is configured to generate reference information in which positional information about the region of interest is associated with a schematic diagram of the breast. The output control circuitry is configured to cause output circuitry to output the reference information.
