In order to determine, in a cancer test using nematodes, whether or not the nematodes used in the cancer test are adequate, the present invention is characterized in that after a plate on which a urine from a subject and the nematode are set is placed, a cancer test apparatus performs imaging for quality assay of the nematode during the initial two minutes; an analysis apparatus determines a quality of the nematode using the imaging result; after taxis of the nematode is completed, the cancer test apparatus performs imaging for cancer test assay by the nematode; and the analysis apparatus determines the presence or absence of a cancer in the subject using the imaging result.

A cancer analysis system includes, so as to perform an efficient image analysis in a cancer screening test using nematodes: a light source unit that irradiates a plate on which nematodes and a urine sample are plotted, from below; a photographing unit that takes an image of the plate irradiated by the light source unit; and an analyzer that analyzes the image taken by the photographing unit. The analyzer: couples a prescribed number of pixels in the image into a larger number of pixels thereof; and performs a chemotaxis assay of the nematodes based on a time variation of information on a luminous center of gravity of the image.

Sample fine particles attached to an inspection object are identified simply and with high accuracy, and an increase in operation rate and a decrease in device size are achieved. The inspection object is transported into a sampling chamber defined by a pair of side walls and an upper wall enclosing a part of a transport route of a transport unit. The inspection object is sprayed with compressed gas from an air nozzle, the peeled sample fine particles are aspirated into a collector, and the sample fine particles are separated from the aspirated gas for analysis. The air nozzle is disposed on one of the side walls defining the sampling chamber. The collector is disposed under the other side wall as a container independent from the sampling chamber.

Provided is a technique of analyzing particles in real time while collecting and condensing the particles continuously. Gas and/or particles as a detection target substance that are attached to an authentication targetare removed by air flow from a blowing region. The removed sample is sucked and is condensed and sampled at a sampling region, and ions of the sample are generated at an ion sourceand are then subjected to mass analysis at a mass analysis region. Determination of the obtained mass spectrum is made as to the presence or not of a mass spectrum derived from the detection target substance, and a monitordisplays a result thereof.
