A shutter apparatus includes a shutter base plate having an aperture, a blade group configured to open and close the aperture, a blade driving member configured to drive the blade group, a charge lever configured to rotate the blade driving member, a first roller which is attached to a first axis portion extending from the blade driving member and abuts against the charge lever, a cam member configured to rotate the charge lever, and a second roller which is attached to a second axis portion extending from the charge lever and is configured to trace a cam portion formed on the cam member. The cam member has a flange protruding from the cam portion to periphery of the cam member. And the cam member is arranged so that the second roller is overlapped with the flange in an extending direction of the second axis portion.

An optical apparatus includes an optical element for shifting an incident position of a light beam on an image forming plane, a plurality of restricting portions for controlling an inclination position of the optical element with respect to an optical axis by respectively coming into abutment with end portions of the optical element and restricting positions of the respective end portions in a direction of the optical axis, and a driving part for driving the optical element to bring the optical element into abutment with the restricting portions. Each of the restricting portions has position restricting surfaces formed before and behind a corresponding one of the end portions of the optical element in the direction of the optical axis, and an inclination angle of the optical element relative to the optical axis is determined in such a way that the position of each of the end portions in the direction of the optical axis is restricted by the position restricting surfaces in a corresponding one of the restricting portions.

Two plane parallel plates, orthogonally intersecting each other, are provided in front of a CCD device. The plane parallel plate is supported by its two ends which are deviated from an optical path. Each end of the plane parallel plate includes an armature made of soft electromagnetic iron, and two electromagnets are provided in the optical axis direction, while sandwiching each armature. By the on/off state of the two electromagnets, the armature can control the optical device in three angled positions, thus the optical device can have three shift positions with respect to the optical axis. Therefore, by virtue of the optical devices, an optical path can be determined by selecting a shift position of said optical device from nine shift positions (3&times;3).

A light-quantity control device having a light-quantity control member which moves to change an aperture opening amount. A drive source swings the light-quantity control member in one direction and a spring having a coil part urges the light-quantity control member against the swinging direction of the drive source. A base member having an aperture fixedly supports the drive source and swingably supports the light-quantity control member. The base member has a shaft for carrying the coil part of the spring. The shaft is formed at a position outside the supporting position of the drive source on the base member relative to the center of the aperture.

The light-amount controlling apparatus further includes a Hall element for detecting magnetic force produced by the magneto rotor, and a drive control circuit for controlling an amount of a current supplied to the electromagnetic coil in order that the magnetic rotor is driven to a predetermined angular position based upon the detection result of the Hall element.
