An object detection system includes: a plurality of object detection units. The object detection units each include a transmission and reception unit configured to transmit an ultrasonic wave and receive a reflected wave generated by reflection of the ultrasonic wave on an object, a reception circuit unit configured to detect a signal level of the reflected wave received by the transmission and reception unit, a detection unit configured to detect the object by comparing the signal level detected by the reception circuit unit with a predetermined signal threshold value, a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of an environment, and a detection sensitivity adjustment unit configured to adjust detection sensitivity of the reception circuit unit based on a second lowest temperature among temperatures detected by the respective temperature sensors in the plurality of object detection units.

Object detection system

An object detection device includes: a transmitter transmitting a transmission wave; a receiver receiving a reception wave reflected by an object; a CFAR processor acquiring a CFAR signal at a detection timing by CFAR processing based on a value of a first processing target signal and an average value of values of second processing target signals; a detection processor detecting information related to the object based on a comparison between the CFAR signal and a threshold; and a threshold processor setting, when the detection timing belongs to a predetermined first section, the threshold as a first threshold calculated in consideration of a detection result of a temperature sensor, and setting, when the detection timing belongs to a predetermined second section, the threshold as a second threshold calculated without considering the detection result of the temperature sensor.

Object detection device

An object detector includes: a transmission and reception unit that transmits a transmission wave and receives a reflection wave from an object; an acquisition unit that detects the reflection wave having a signal level above a threshold to acquire distance information indicating a distance from the transmission and reception unit to the object; a sort processing unit that sets a priority of the distance information to be higher as a difference between a signal level corresponding to the distance information and the threshold is larger when a plurality of pieces of the distance information are acquired in a predetermined period; and an output control unit that outputs the plurality of pieces of the distance information in descending order of the priority.

Object detector

An object detection device includes: a transmission unit configured to transmit a transmission wave; a reception unit configured to receive a reception wave, which is the transmission wave reflected by and returned from an object, until a predetermined measurement time elapses after the transmission wave is transmitted; a detection unit configured to detect the object based on distance information based on the reception wave received by the reception unit; and a reception control unit configured to set the measurement time after the detection of the object to be shorter than the measurement time after a non-detection of the object.

An object detector includes: a triangulation calculation unit that performs triangulation calculation for detecting a location of an object based on first distance information calculated based on direct waves in which transmitted waves transmitted from a first transmission and reception unit are reflected by an object and received by the first transmission and reception unit, and second distance information calculated based on indirect waves in which transmitted waves transmitted from a second transmission and reception unit arranged in a location different from the first transmission and reception unit are reflected by an object and received by the first transmission and reception unit; and a prohibition processing unit that prohibits triangulation calculation when a difference between first velocity information indicating a velocity of an object calculated based on the direct waves and second velocity information indicating a velocity of an object calculated based on the indirect waves exceeds a predetermined range.

An object detection system includes: a transmission unit configured to sequentially transmit a plurality of transmission waves to which identification information different from one another is applied; a reception unit configured to sequentially receive a plurality of reception waves respectively corresponding to the plurality of transmission waves returned in response to reflection by an object after all the plurality of transmission waves are transmitted by the transmission unit; and a detection processing unit configured to detect information related to the object based on a relationship between the plurality of transmission waves and the plurality of reception waves.

An object detection device that detects an object existing around a moving body moving on a road surface by a TOF method, the object detection device includes: a first acquisition unit that acquires target information including distance information of a detection target on the basis of a comparison result between a signal level of a reflected wave and a first threshold value; a second acquisition unit that acquires road surface information including distance information of the road surface on the basis of a comparison result between the signal level of the reflected wave and a second threshold value; and a setting unit that sets the second threshold value so that an amount of the distance information acquired within a predetermined period does not exceed a predetermined amount.
