A thermal dye sublimation printer to which an ink ribbon cassette having a function of transmitting and receiving data via wireless communication with a printer main body is attached, is disclosed. The thermal dye sublimation printer includes: communication means that transmits and receives data via wireless communication with an ink ribbon cassette; and control means that acquires management information of the ink ribbon cassette stored in the ink ribbon cassette side via the communication means and controls printing processing based on the acquired management information.

An image display apparatus includes a casing, a stand, and an image display section. The stand is formed of a single rod. The image display apparatus further includes a link mechanism that links the rod and a portion of the rear surface, supports the rod so as to be pivotal between a falling-down position where the rod falls down on the rear surface and a standing position where the rod stands from the rear surface, and locks and holds the rod to the falling-down position and the standing position. The rod is located at the standing position and one of two long sides of the casing and the leading end of the rod are placed onto a placing surface, whereby a first posture in which the casing stands with a first angle with respect to the placing surface is formed. A printer device is disclosed. The printer device includes: a base chassis that accepts therein and ejects therefrom the printing medium; a top chassis that is disposed to be able to freely open and close in a direction vertical to the basis chassis; an ink ribbon cartridge holder that is disposed between the top chassis and the base chassis, and is attached with an ink ribbon cartridge including therein the ink ribbon; and a thermal head that prints an image to the printing medium by heating the ink ribbon in the ink ribbon cartridge attached to the ink ribbon cartridge holder.

A disk recording and/or reproducing device capable of recording data onto a disk and/or reproducing data recorded on the disk, includes a disk mounting portion for mounting the disk; a chucking portion for chucking the disk in cooperation with the disk mounting portion, the chucking portion having a disk engaging portion for engaging the disk at the start of disk loading; and a slider for supporting the chucking portion and moving the chucking portion in a radial direction of the disk between a chucking position where the disk is allowed to be chucked and a loading position where the disk loading is allowed to be started. With this arrangement, the device can be reduced in thickness.

Disk recording and/or reproducing device, disk loading mechanism, and disk eject mechanism

A recording and/or reproducing apparatus of a disc-shaped recording medium includes a main body portion, a shutter mechanism, a drive mechanism, an elevation mechanism and an eject mechanism. The main body portion has an opening portion through which a disc-shaped recording medium is inserted or ejected. The shutter mechanism opens and closes the opening portion. The shutter mechanism is provided on the main body portion to be freely movable and closes the opening portion under a state that the disc-shaped recording medium is completely inserted into the main body portion. The drive mechanism rotatably drivers the disc-shaped recording medium. The elevator mechanism is moved up and down in an interlocking manner with a movement of the shutter mechanism. The elevator mechanism mounts the recording medium on the drive mechanism when the shutter mechanism is moved to a position to close the opening portion, while makes the disc-shaped recording medium apart from the drive mechanism when the shutter mechanism is moved to a position to open said opening portion. The eject mechanism ejects the recording medium from the opening portion. The eject mechanism ejects the disc-shaped recording medium made apart from the drive mechanism by the elevator mechanism from the opening portion when the shutter mechanism is moved from the position to close the opening portion to the portion to open the opening portion.

Disk loading apparatus with interlocked shutter mechanism, elevator mechanism and eject mechanism

A disc cartridge loading apparatus of simple construction smoothly and securely loads and unloads a disc cartridge. The disc cartridge loading apparatus includes a main slider supported so as to be freely slidable on a chassis. A cartridge holder is supported between side portions of the main slider so as to slidingly move in upward and downward directions. In addition, a loading slider is provided which is supported to be slidable to and from the cartridge holder. The loading slider includes a hook portion which engages a engaging portion provided in the side of a disc cartridge which is inserted into the cartridge holder. The loading apparatus is supported in a sub-chassis via damping members so as to prevent transmission of vibration from the sub-chassis to the loading apparatus. Further, during loading and unloading operation, engaging members are active to fix the positioning of the loading apparatus as a whole relative to the sub-chassis in the vertical, lateral and longitudinal directions so as to allow smooth and reliable loading and unloading of the disc cartridge.

Disc cartridge loading apparatus

A printer device for performing printing by a thermal head using a color ink ribbon cassette 60, in which the device may be reduced in size. A sheet guide plate 2 is mounted on a lid 1 that can be opened and closed. When a printing sheet P is moved back and forth for multi-color printing, the sheet P is moved within the range of the lid 1 below the sheet guide plate 2. During non-use time, the lid 1 is closed, whereby the device becomes smaller in size than the range of movement of the printing sheet P.

A disc cartridge loading apparatus of simple construction is disclosed which smoothly and securely loads and unloads a disc cartridge. The disc cartridge loading apparatus includes a main slider supported so as to be freely slidable on a chassis. A cartridge holder is supported between the side portions of the main slider so as to slide in upward and downward directions. In addition, a loading slider is provided which slides to and from the cartridge holder. The loading slider includes a hook portion which engages an engaging portion, provided in the side of a disc cartridge, when the cartridge is inserted into the cartridge holder. The loading apparatus is supported in a sub-chassis via damping members in a manner which prevents transmission of vibration from the sub-chassis to the loading apparatus. Further, during loading and unloading operation, engaging members are active to fix the positioning of the loading apparatus as a whole relative to the sub-chassis in the vertical, lateral and longitudinal directions so as to allow smooth and reliable loading and unloading of the disc cartridge.
