An electronic device includes a rack, a mount housing in which an electronic component is housed, and mounted in the rack from a front face side or rear face side of the rack, and a movable duct configured to have a housed state where the movable duct is retracted from an opening formed in a sidewall part of the mount housing and is housed in the mount housing and an opened state where the movable duct is moved to outside of the mount housing through the opening so as to form a ventilation flue located outside the mount housing and communicating with the opening.

Electronic device

A card unit on which a card attached to a connector and detached from it is loaded has a frame, which is loaded with the card and is expanded and contracted, and an attaching/detaching mechanism which attaches the card to the connector and detaches the card from the connector by expanding and contracting the frame. The attaching/detaching mechanism has a rotatable attaching/detaching lever which makes the frame expand and contract by its rotational operation. A maintaining part (maintaining surface parts) is provided, and the frame is maintained at a position, at which the card is disengaged from the connector, by the maintaining part.

Card unit, device unit, card attaching/detaching method and electronic apparatus

A first wiring pattern formed on a first layer of a multilayer wiring substrate, a second wiring pattern formed on a layer different from the first layer on which the first wiring pattern is formed, a penetration hole penetrating the front surface and the back surface of the substrate, and a penetration hole penetrating a front surface and a back surface of the substrate; and a fitting connector having a conductor part on a side surface inscribed in the penetration hole and fitting into the penetration hole are provided. The first wiring pattern and the second wiring pattern are exposed from the internal surface of the penetration hole, and the fitting connector connects a first end part of the conductor part and a second end part with an exposed part of the first wiring pattern and an exposed part of the second wiring pattern, respectively.

Multilayer wiring substrate

A communication device includes a sub-rack unit and a plurality of plug-in units. The sub-rack unit includes a back wiring board having first connectors arranged in lines thereon, and a frame plate including vertical ribs and placed on said back wiring board so that the vertical ribs separate the lines of the first connectors. Each of the plug-in units includes: a printed board including top and bottom sides and parallel first and second sides, the printed board having second connectors provided on the first side thereof; a metal case including top and bottom faces, and parallel first and second side faces so as to cover the printed board; and first and second spring members. Each of said plug-in units is mounted in the sub-rack unit with the first and second connectors being connected so that the first and second side faces of the metal case are pressed outward against the vertical ribs of the frame plate by resilient forces of the first and second spring members, respectively.

Communication device and plug-in unit therefor

An optical unit includes photoelectric conversion modules, a plurality of adapter support members whose upper parts are rotatably supported, and a plurality of optical connector adapters attached to lower ends of the adapter support members so as to be arranged next to each other, the optical connector adapters being contained in the optical unit. The adapter support members are rotated separately so that the optical connector adapters are extracted outside from the optical unit with a space formed between each adjacent two of said optical connector adapters. Each of the optical connector adapters has insertion holes to which optical connectors of optical fibers extending from the photoelectric conversion modules and optical connectors of external optical fibers are connected.

Optical unit with increased reliability

A cover mounting structure for a shelf assembly which allows easy mounting of a cover to a shelf and can reliably prevent falling of the cover even when the cover is unlocked. The shelf assembly includes a shelf having a pair of side plates and a plurality of electronic circuit packages mounted in the shelf. The cover mounting structure includes a cover having a front plate, a pair of side plates bent from the front plate at a substantially right angle thereto, and a top plate bent from the front plate at a predetermined angle thereto; and a pair of shafts fixed in the vicinity of the upper ends of the side plates of the cover so as to project inside of the cover. A pair of recesses for receiving the shafts are formed at the upper ends of the side plates of the shelf, and a pair of guiding slant surfaces for guiding reception of the shafts into the recesses are formed at the front edges of the upper ends of the side plates of the shelf. The shafts are engaged with the recesses to thereby mount the cover on the shelf assembly.
