Provided are a setting code generating device, an industrial machine, a setting code generating method, and a setting code generating program capable of confirming information output externally from an industrial machine. This setting code generating device is provided with: an identification information output unit for outputting, to a display, identification information relating to an industrial machine, including machine information relating to the industrial machine and state information relating to the state of the industrial machine; a setting code generating unit for generating a setting code obtained by encoding the identification information output by the identification information output unit, on the basis of an instruction received by way of an operating unit; and a setting code output unit for outputting the setting code generated by the setting code generating unit.

A numerical controller includes a drawing processing unit that draws a screen on a display unit, an image display cycle measurement processing unit that measures a display cycle of the screen, and a drawing quality change processing unit that determines drawing quality of the screen based on the display cycle or a CPU processing amount estimated from the display cycle. The drawing processing unit draws the screen according to the drawing quality determined by the drawing quality change processing unit.

A numerical controller operates a machine tool based on a plurality of parameters and a machining program. A user is allowed to refer to a parameter that has not been set, in other words, a parameter not falling within the range of recommended setting values, among parameters that may influence the shortening of a cycle time of the operation of the machining program on a display screen. For this reason, the user can use the parameter as a reference for reviewing the parameter setting for the purpose of shortening the cycle time or the like.

A numerical controller includes: a screen display section that displays a screen to which a screen identifier identifying a screen is added; an image storage section that stores, as image data, the screen displayed on the screen display section; a memo input section that adds memo data to the image data; and a memo management section that records the memo data and the screen identifier so as to be associated with each other.

A numerical controller includes a storage area for storing startable start-up settings and a database for storing start-up setting values that inhibit the completion of a start-up. If a start-up has been completed at the time of start-up, current start-up settings are stored in the storage area as startable settings. If the start-up has not been completed, start-up setting values that inhibit the completion are registered in the database, the current settings are reconstructed to startable settings, and the numerical controller is restarted. After start-up settings are changed, the database is searched. If the same start-up settings as the changed start-up setting are found, the found start-up settings are outputted.
