A cold plate includes: a metal base plate having a first surface, a second surface on a side opposite the first surface, and fins disposed in parallel on the first surface; and a topped cylindrical resin cover covering the fins. The first surface has a recessed portion recessed toward the second surface. The topped cylindrical resin cover is heat-fused to the metal base plate on an inner surface of the recessed portion.

Cold plate

An occupant protection device for a vehicle includes a first bag that deploys in front of a vehicle's occupant, a second bag that deploys adjacent to the first bag, and a deployment controller that selects, according to a collision mode, a first deployment mode in which the first bag deploys and the second bag does not deploy and a second deployment mode in which both bags deploy. The first bag includes a first air chamber, a second air chamber that extends from the first air chamber toward the second bag, and a communication flow path that supplies deployment gas from the first air chamber to the second air chamber. The communication flow path includes a supply restriction unit that restricts supply of the deployment gas from the first air chamber to the second air chamber in response to interference between the second air chamber and the second bag.

Occupant protection device

An occupant protection device for a vehicle includes a first bag, a second bag, and a deployment controller. The first bag deploys in front of an occupant of the vehicle. The second bag deploys adjacent to the first bag. The deployment controller selects a first deployment mode in which the first bag deploys or the second bag does not deploy and a second deployment mode in which the first bag and the second bag deploy according to a collision mode. The first bag includes a first air chamber and a second air chamber protruding from the first air chamber toward the second bag. The occupant protection device further includes a deployment restriction member that restricts an amount of protrusion of the second air chamber from the first air chamber. The deployment restriction member is disabled in the first deployment mode and enabled in the second deployment mode.

A vehicle body structure provided on a vehicle includes a floor pan and a bracket. On an upper surface of the floor pan, a cushion of a seat on which an occupant of the vehicle is to be seated is to be disposed. A bracket is disposed on an outer end side of a seating position for the occupant in a vehicle width direction of the vehicle on the upper surface of the floor pan, and includes at least one protruding portion protruding upward and extending in a front-rear direction.

In a heat spreading module, a plurality of hollow paths is formed in a thin plate-shaped main body so as to pass though the heating portion, and the hollow paths communicate with each other in a heating portion, a working fluid is enclosed in the hollow paths, a wick is disposed in each of the hollow paths such that a vapor flow path in which vapor of the working fluid flows is formed in each of the hollow paths, a part of each wick is positioned at the heating portion, and the vapor flow paths formed in the hollow paths communicate with each other in the heating portion.

The cooling system includes: a cooling circuit, a main cooling device to cool a cooling medium heated by electronic components, and an auxiliary cooling device to assist the main cooling device in cooling the cooling medium.

There is provided a windshield washer system. The windshield washer system includes: washer nozzles for injecting washer fluid onto a top portion of a windshield, in which an imaging area is included in a field of view of an imaging device that is located in a vehicle cabin; and a washer fluid supplier for supplying the washer fluid to the washer nozzles by pressurizing the washer fluid. The washer nozzles include a first nozzle having a spray pattern covering an area other than the imaging area and a second nozzle having a spray pattern covering the imaging area. The spray pattern of the second nozzle is narrower than the spray pattern of the first nozzle.

A heat pipe wherein a condensable liquid phase working fluid is encapsulated in a container sealed in air-tight condition; wherein the wick composed of the porous body for refluxing the liquid phase working fluid by a capillary pressure is provided in the container; wherein a part of the container functions as an evaporating part for evaporating the working fluid by means of inputting the heat from outside; and wherein another part of the container functions as a condensing part for condensing a vapor of the working fluid by means of radiating the heat to the outside; comprises a direct reflux flow passage for flowing the liquid phase working fluid to the evaporating part, which has a flow cross-sectional area greater than that of a cavity formed in the porous body.

A tower type heat sink wherein a heat pipe for transporting a heat whereby a latent heat of a working fluid encapsulated therein is erected generally vertical on a top face of a flat plate shaped base portion, and a plurality of heat radiating fins are mounted on said heat pipe, and comprises an intermediate portion formed with bending a portion of said heat pipe where the heat radiating fins are not mounted thereon, and a through hole formed on said base portion for letting through said heat pipe to protrude one of its end portion of which said fins are mounted thereon from the top face of said base portion, and to expose the said heating portion on the bottom face of said base portion.

A heat sink comprises: a base portion having one face to be contacted by an exothermic member; a heat pipe erected on the other face of the base portion; and a plurality of fins mounted on the outer face of the heat pipe. Further comprised are: an axially short cylindrical member erected on the other face of the base portion; and a heat pipe container having one end portion closed and the other end portion opened and fitted at its opened end closely in the cylindrical member. The heat pipe is constructed by evacuating the inside of the heat pipe container and then by encapsulating a working fluid in the heat pipe container, so that a heat may be transferred to the heat pipe through the base portion and the cylindrical member.

A vapor chamber, in which a condensable fluid, which evaporates and condenses depending on a state of input and radiation of a heat, is encapsulated in a hollow and flat sealed receptacle as a liquid phase working fluid; and in which the wick for creating the capillary pressure by moistening by the working fluid is arranged in said sealed receptacle, comprising: a wick for creating a great capillary pressure by being moistened by said working fluid, which is arranged on the evaporating part side where the heat is input from outside; and a wick having a small flow resistance against the moistening working fluid, which is arranged on the condensing part side where the heat is radiated to outside.

A heat sink comprises a base portion, and a multiplicity of thin plate fins erected on the base portion in parallel with each other. The fins are folded in two at their lower ends to form two-ply portions and are fixed by having the two-ply portions inserted into grooves formed in the base portion.

An electronic device cooler for cooling an exothermic member arranged in a case, comprises: an air compressor for adiabatically compressing the air in the case; a heat pipe for discharging the heat of the air, which is compressed to have an elevated temperature by the air compressor, to the outside of the case; and an expansion turbine for adiabatically expanding the pressurized air, which is derived of its heat by the heat pipe, to cool it.
