A proximity type antenna includes an antenna pattern for wirelessly communicating with an external communication device by magnetic coupling and a conductive plate arranged near the antenna pattern. The conductive plate has an aperture and a slit extending from the aperture to an end of the conductive plate and at least part of the aperture is arranged at a position of overlapping either the antenna pattern or the region surrounded by the inner periphery of the antenna pattern.

Proximity type antenna and radio communication device

An airport surface traffic system is provided which detects targets moving on an airport surface and automatically adds ID codes thereby reduces the controlling duties of an air traffic controller and elevates safety of an aviation control. An airport surface traffic system comprises airport surface monitoring radars which detects targets moving on an airport surface, ASDE target detector which detects targets by an output signal of the airport surface monitoring radars, a second monitoring radar which receives response signals from airplanes and from an airport monitoring radar which controls airport, ASR/SSR target detector which detects targets, ID code addition apparatus which adds an ID code to targets based on a signal from FDP which stores flight schedule data of airplanes and a multi-function display which displays targets.

Airport surface traffic control system

To reduce the cost of a cassette case by simplifying the design, a cassette case 10 is made up of a case body 26 and a case cover 27 fitted to the upper surface of the case body 26, a ribbon guide 28 is fitted to the outside of the cassette case 10 in such a way that it is free to slide in the longitudinal direction, and at times of printing color changeover the required color band of the multiple color ink ribbon 11 is guided over the end of the printing head by this ribbon guide 28. The ribbon guide 28 is provided with guide portions 36, 37 facing both of the side surfaces of the case cover 27, and the movement of the ribbon guide 28 in the direction of the length of the cassette case 10 is guided by these guide portions 36, 37 sliding along the side surfaces of the case cover 27.

Printing head for a printer of a computer

A printing head includes a plurality of printing levers, each having a front end portion and a rear end portion, with each printing lever being rotatable about its rear end portion. An electromagnetic drive is operable to individually drive the printing levers in a driving direction so as to apply a printing force to printing elements operated by the printing levers. Resilient springs operatively associated with the printing levers resiliently apply a return force to each of the printing levers in a return direction opposite to the driving direction. Stopper devices are disposed to be operatively engaged by each of the printing levers upon application of the printing force to thereby preclude contact between each of the printing levers and the electromagnetic drives upon application of the printing force.

Printing head of the impact type

A plurality of radially arranged hammers each having a radially outer end are driven to undergo pivotal movement around their outer ends between front operating and rear rest positions. A first yoke member faces the radially arranged hammers, and has a plurality of cores opposed to the corresponding hammers and a dependent portion depending laterally from an outer periphery of the first yoke member to be magnetically coupled to the outer ends of the hammers. A plurality of coils are wound around respective ones of the cores to magnetically drive the corresponding hammers. A second yoke member has an outer periphery magnetically coupled to the dependent portion of the first yoke member and a plurality of tongues extending radially inwardly to define a plurality of slots between adjacent tongues to receive therein the hammers. A press spring acts on the respective outer ends of the hammers to urge the same pivotably against the dependent portion of the first yoke member to position the respective outer ends of the hammers in place relative to the dependent portion of the first yoke member. A plurality of printing elements are actuated by the respective hammers when driven to the front operating position for printing marks on a printing medium.
