An electronic device comprises: a detection unit configured to detect movement of a person; and a control unit configured to, in a case where the detection unit detects a first movement of the person, control an operation unit such that the operation unit is changed from a first state to a second state and maintains the second state for a first predetermined period, wherein, in a case where the detection unit detects a second movement of the person in a predetermined detection period spanning from before an end time of the first predetermined period until after the end time, the control unit controls the operation unit such that the operation unit maintains the second state until an end of a second predetermined period changed from the first predetermined period according to an aspect of the second movement.

Electronic device

An ion generation apparatus that can facilitate the separation of adhering materials from a discharge electrode and efficiently generate ions includes an induction electrode, and a discharge electrode for generating ions between the discharge electrode and the induction electrode. The discharge electrode has a plurality of filament-like conductors, and a joining portion to tie the bottoms of the conductors together. The induction electrode is arranged at the bottom side of the conductors.

Ion generation apparatus and electrical equipment

In an ion generation apparatus, induction electrodes are formed on a surface of a substrate, holes are provided inside the induction electrodes, respectively, needle electrodes are disposed in a substrate, and tip end portions of the needle electrodes are inserted into the holes, respectively. Furthermore, a part of each of the induction electrodes is removed, thereby reducing the size of the substrate for entire size reduction. By such a configuration, it becomes possible to provide an ion generation apparatus that can stably generate ions even in a high humidity environment and that can be mounted also in small-sized electrical equipment.

A discharge device capable of maintaining a stable discharge performance even in a highly humid environment or an atmospheric environment containing salt includes a discharge electrode discharging when a voltage is applied thereto, a substrate supporting the discharge electrode, an induction electrode arranged apart from the discharge electrode, and an insulator enclosing all of the substrate and the induction electrode. The discharge electrode has a root portion supported by the substrate, a pointed end protruding from a surface of the insulator, and a taper portion tapering from the root portion toward the pointed end. An outer peripheral surface of the root portion is made of a material having an ionization tendency lower than that of hydrogen.

Discharge device

A housing, a substrate accommodated in the housing, a needle electrode for generating ions through discharging, which is held by the substrate such that a tip end portion protrudes outside the housing, an insulating sealing portion insulating and sealing the substrate in the housing, and an electrode protection portion for protecting the needle electrode outside the housing are included. The housing is provided with an opening portion through which a side of the tip end portion of the needle electrode is inserted and which is sealed with the insulating sealing portion. The electrode protection portion has a first protection portion and a second protection portion which are provided to protrude from the housing relative to the tip end portion of the needle electrode and opposed to each other at a distance from each other on opposing sides of the needle electrode.

Ion generation apparatus and electric equipment including the same

In this ion generation apparatus, tip end portions of needle electrodes are aligned in an X direction with being oriented in a Z direction, and protrude from a casing. A protective cover covers the tip end portions of the needle electrodes. The protective cover is provided with holes opened to allow tip ends of the needle electrodes to be seen from the Z direction, and an opening opened to allow the needle electrodes to be seen from a Y direction. Therefore, ions generated at the tip end portions of the needle electrodes can be emitted efficiently out of the casing. Further, a user can be prevented from touching the tip end portion of the needle electrode and injuring his or her finger or the like.
