In an instrument panel provided in a vehicle cabin front section, a face that projects into a vehicle cabin is formed with a T-shape in vehicle rear view. An air-conditioning unit of a vehicle air-conditioning device is provided at an inside of the instrument panel. In the vehicle air-conditioning device, a foot blower outlet provided on the instrument panel blows an air-conditioned airflow toward the feet of a front seat occupant, and an interior air intake provided on the instrument panel takes in air from inside the vehicle cabin to generate the air-conditioned airflow. The foot blower outlet is formed in a lower portion of a side wall at a vehicle width direction central portion of the instrument panel.

Vehicle air-conditioning device

A steering system steers wheels of a vehicle through a shift of a steering shaft. The steering system includes: an electric motor; transmission device that transmits an output of the electric motor to the steering shaft; and a malfunction detector that detects a malfunction of the transmission device based on a rotational angle of the electric motor and a shift distance of the steering shaft.

Steering system

A heat transfer device couples a heat generation member with a heat radiation member, and transfers heat from the heat generation member to the heat radiation member. The heat transfer device includes a composite member and a heat conductor. The composite member includes multiple carbon nanotubes and multiple carbon fibers which are mixed into a base material and complexed together, and the respective carbon fibers are crosslinked with each other by the carbon nanotubes. The heat conductor has one flexible end embedded in the composite member. The embedded one end is crosslinked with the carbon fibers in the composite member through the carbon nanotubes.

Heat transfer device

The communication system includes a first communication device, a second communication device, and a third communication device. The first communication device outputs a high frequency alternating current power, and a power receiving circuit of the second communication device receives the high frequency alternating current power via a second antenna. A power line is connected between the second antenna and the power receiving circuit. A first power line has a first semicircle portion and a second power line has a second semicircle portion. The first and second semicircle portions are combined together to provide a loop-shaped antenna. The third communication device receives the high frequency alternating current power output from the loop-shaped antenna. At least two of the first, second, or third communication devices transmit or receive communication signals using respective antennas. The first and second power lines are twisted with each other at a portion other than the loop-shaped antenna.

Communication system

A clutch device includes: a handle-side housing in which a plurality of lock grooves are formed to be spaced apart from each other in an inner circumference and in a circumferential direction; a tire-side housing; a plurality of lock bars that are provided on the tire-side housing so as to be capable of moving in a radial direction of the tire-side housing and arranged to be spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the tire-side housing; and an advancing/retracting mechanism that causes the lock bar to advance and retract in a direction toward the lock groove.

Clutch device and steering device

A clutch apparatus is configured such that a first mode, a second mode and a third can be switched among these three modes. In the first mode, the rotating force is not transmitted between the steering-wheel-side housing and the tire-side housing. In the second mode, the steering-wheel-side housing and the tire-side housing are being mutually locked in place and, in this locked state, the rotating force can be transmitted to for the rotation in the both directions. In the third mode, the transmission of the rotating force can be canceled such that while the rotating force can be transmitted, between the steering-wheel-side housing and the tire-side housing, relative to the rotation in one direction, the rotation of either the steering-wheel-side housing or the tire-side housing in the other direction is allowed.

An air conditioning apparatus has a case, a heat exchanger rotatable about a rotation axis in the case, and a pipe unit in communication with the heat exchanger. The pipe unit has a first section fixed to the case and a second section coaxially coupled to the first section. The second section is coupled to the heat exchanger and rotatable with the heat exchanger. The first section has a first annular portion, a second annular portion, a cylindrical portion, and a support member. The second section has a flange portion disposed between the first annular portion and the support member. An O-ring is disposed in a groove provided by the first annular portion and the cylindrical portion, and is in contact with a surface of the first annular portion and the flange portion in a direction parallel to the rotation axis.

Sealing structure of a rotation unit and air conditioning apparatus having the same

In an air passage switching device using a film-type sliding door for an air-conditioning unit for a vehicle. A grid member is provided in an air passage to extend parallel with the sliding direction of a sliding door and divide an opening of the air passage into a plurality of smaller openings. The sliding door has a film member, a door plate supporting the film member, and elastic pressing means for pressing the film member against edge seal faces of the air passage. A grill spacing between the door plate and the end face of the grid member, is larger than an edge seal face spacing between the door plate and the edge seal faces.

Air passage switching device and vehicle air conditioner

An air conditioning system includes an air conditioner for blowing conditioned air toward a compartment of a vehicle, and a dashboard having a design surface exposed to the compartment. An inner air passage extending nearly parallel to the design surface is formed in the dashboard, and a plurality of diffusion blowing openings are formed in the design surface. Thus, the condensed air is blown from the diffusion blowing openings into the compartment of the vehicle, while passing through the inner air passage. For example, cool air is blown from the diffusion blowing openings, so that the cool air can cool the dashboard while cooling the compartment of the vehicle. Moreover, because the cool air passes through the inner air passage extending nearly parallel to the design surface, the dashboard can be effectively cooled.

Air conditioning system

A vehicle air conditioner includes an air conditioning case, a blower fan for blowing conditioned air into a passenger compartment, and an evaporator disposed in the air conditioning case. The air conditioning case has a cooling opening upstream from the evaporator, so that at least inside air is blown by the blower fan to vehicle electronic units through the cooling opening. Thus, heat radiation of the electronic units can be facilitated by air blown from the blower fan. Further, because at least inside air, without being cooled by the evaporator, is blown to the electronic units, the electronic units can be prevented from being excessively cooled. Accordingly, it can restrict the surface temperature of the electronic units from reducing less than a dew point, thereby effectively reducing condensed water on the electronic units.

Cooling structure for cooling vehicle electronic unit

A strength member, for vehicle use, extending in the vehicle width direction inside an instrument panel of a vehicle has a reinforcing bar in which a closed space is formed, and the reinforcing bar has a driver's seat side region, a central region and an assistant driver's seat side region, the reinforcing bar being composed of a metallic member arranged in the driver's seat side region and a resin member or a resin and metallic member arranged in the central region and the assistant driver's seat side region.

Strength member for vehicle use

A vehicle air conditioner has an actuator for driving an air mixing door and various mode switching doors. An automatic range and a manual range are set in different operating angle ranges of the actuator. In the automatic range, an air outlet mode is automatically switched in accordance with an opening degree of the air mixing door. On the other hand, in the manual range, a multi-mode or a defroster mode is manually set, regardless of the opening degree of the air mixing door. In the manual range, air is simultaneously blown from all openings such as a face opening, a foot opening and a defroster opening in the multi-mode, and air is blown from the defroster opening in the defroster mode.

Vehicle air conditioner with mode switching pattern

An air-conditioning duct structure is included in a vehicular dash beam member. Material for the duct is made of a heat insulating and sound absorbing material and is adhered onto the surface of a sheet material for the beam member which is then bent into a semi-tubular shape so that the material for the duct is positioned inside thereby forming beam member bodies. Beam member bodies are combined by joining their joining surfaces that face each other to thereby form a tubular closed sectional shape. Achieving vibration attenuation, noise absorption and the heat insulating functions with an inner surface sheet member of an air conditioning duct is achievable. An air conditioning duct extending across a vehicle's width is formed by joining a metal reinforcing member and a resin cover. The sheet member is put between the reinforcing member and the cover.

Vehicular air-conditioning duct structure and forming method, and vehicular electric-wiring fixing structure

There are provided an air mixing door, a plurality of outlets for blowing air into respective portions in a vehicle compartment, outlet mode doors for switching a outlet mode by closing and opening the plurality of outlets, and one motor actuator for driving the air mixing door and the outlet mode doors. The outlet mode doors and the air-mixing door are alternately driven through a change of an operation angle of the motor actuator.

Air conditioner for vehicle and air conditioning unit driving apparatus

In a vehicle air conditioner with a door driving system, a distribution link rotated by a single actuator is provided. One surface of the distribution link is provided with a temperature-control engagement groove through which a temperature control pattern is cyclically repeated plural times, and the other surface of the distribution link is provided with a mode-switching engagement groove through which a mode switching door is driven to a predetermined mode position in accordance with rotation of the distribution link.
