A body sound analysis device includes: acquisition means () that acquires information relating to a frequency corresponding to a prescribed feature of a spectrum of a body sound; shifting means () that shifts, according to the information relating to the frequency, a plurality of reference spectrums that are references for classifying body sounds, and acquires a frequency shift reference spectrum; and output means () that outputs a ratio of a plurality of reference spectrums included in the body sounds on the basis of the body sounds and the frequency shift reference spectrum. According to this body sound analysis device, a plurality of types of sounds included in the body sounds can be favorably analyzed.

An error detecting apparatus includes: a reading device obtaining an image read signal by reading a two-dimensional code pattern, which includes information blocks having information and boundary patterns, the information pattern including first/second pattern images (PIs) corresponding to first/second PIs, respectively, in each reading range corresponding to a size&#x2267;a size of the information block. A reference point detecting device detects an intersection in the boundary pattern, as a block reference point (P, Q), from the image read signal; an extracting device extracts the first/second information data (ID), based on one portion of the first PIs and the second PIs belonging to an ID extraction area determined according to a position of the block reference point; an error detecting device detects whether any error in the extracted first/second ID based on another portion of the first/second PIs belonging to another area other than the ID extraction area.

A display having separate transmitting and receiving sets is provided with a feature to simplify adjustment to the video signal transmission path between the both sets. The display employs a directional video signal transmission path and a sub communication path using a non-directional communication medium independent from the transmission path. Fine adjustment to subtly adjust the spatial matching of the video signal transmission path is carried out using a control signal transmitted through the sub communication path. Coarse adjustment to roughly adjust the spatial matching of the video signal transmission path is carried out using a test video image displayed at the display portion of the receiving set. These fine adjustment and coarse adjustment are combined to keep an optimum spatial matching of the video signal transmission path between the sets.
