An electrostatic actuator includes a base, a movable electrode including a semiconductor and supported to the base to be displaceable in a first direction, and a fixed electrode including the semiconductor and fixed to the base, in which the fixed electrode faces the movable electrode in a state of being separated therefrom in the first direction. The electrostatic actuator includes a high-resistance region formed in at least a portion of each of respective facing surfaces of the movable electrode and the fixed electrode, and lower in impurity concentration than a surrounding region thereof.

A signal transmission cable has a cable including a dielectric layer and a metallic layer. The signal transmission cable further includes a connector having a chip with a terminal. The connector includes a substrate having an organic layer, and a portion of the organic layer extends from the substrate so as to form the dielectric layer of the cable. A humidity estimation device connected with an air-conditioner includes a charge airflow rate estimation (CARE) unit, a charge air absolute humidity estimation (CAAHE) unit, an indoor generated vapor amount estimation (IGVAE) unit, and an indoor absolute humidity estimation (IAHE) unit. The CARE unit calculates an estimated charge airflow rate (ECAR) of the air-conditioner based on operation control information of the charge fan and a preset fan differential pressure. The CAAHE unit calculates an estimated charge air absolute humidity (ECAAH) of the air-conditioner based on a charge air temperature and a preset charge air relative humidity. The IGVAE unit calculates an estimated indoor generated vapor amount (EIGVA) based on an indoor temperature, the number of persons in the room and activity index values of the persons. The IAHE unit calculates an estimated absolute humidity in the room based on the ECAR, the ECAAH and the EIGVA.

Device and method for humidity estimation

An electrostatically actuated micro-mechanical switching device with movable elements formed in the bulk of a substrate for closing and releasing at least one Ohmic contact by a horizontal movement of the movable elements in a plane of the substrate. The switching device has a drive with comb-shaped electrodes including fixed driving electrodes and movable electrodes. A movable push rod is mechanically connected with the movable electrodes, extends through the electrodes, has a movable contact element at one side, and at least one restoring spring. A signal line has two parts interrupted by a gap. The micro-mechanical switching device is in shunt-configuration with low loss, high isolation in a wide frequency range, low switching time at low actuation voltage and sufficient reliability. The line impedance of the signal line and its variation is as small as possible. The switching device is in shunt-configuration for closing and releasing the Ohmic contact between a ground line and the signal line. The contact element has a movable contact beam extending at least partially opposite to the signal line and being electrically and mechanically connected to both parts of the signal line, respectively. The ground line is formed with a contact bar that leads through the gap of the signal line for forming the Ohmic contact between the contact beam and the ground line. A contact metallization is provided at least on top and on the side walls of the contact beam, of the signal line and of the ground line.

Electrostatically actuated micro-mechanical switching device

A small high frequency device that is able to inhibit generation of an eddy current and a parasitic capacity and shows superior high frequency characteristics is provided. The high frequency device includes: a substrate having a depression; a dielectric layer over the substrate; and a plurality of electronic devices which are provided in the dielectric layer or on the dielectric layer, and at least one of which is opposed to the depression.

According to an embodiment, provided is an air conditioning control system having a remote controller which collectively controls air conditioning facilities respectively provided in multiple buildings through a network. A building monitoring and controlling device is provided in each of the buildings. The building monitoring and controlling device monitors an air conditioning facility in a building where the building monitoring and controlling device itself is installed, and transmits operation data on the air conditioning facility to the remote controller. The remote controller calculates each operation setting value based on each set of operation data, and transmits the calculated operation setting value to the building monitoring and controlling device corresponding to the calculated operation setting value. The building monitoring and controlling device which has received the operation setting value controls the air conditioning facility by transmitting the operation setting value to the air conditioning facility.

A shunt switch allowed to improve isolation, a semiconductor device, a module and an electronic device each of which includes the shunt switch are provided. The shunt switch includes: a transmission line, a ground; and a shunt line electrically coupling the transmission line and the ground, in which two or more of the shunt lines are arranged in parallel to one another, and an impedance between the two or more shunt lines is higher than an impedance of the transmission line.
