The present technology relates to an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, a program, and a mobile body that make it easy to acquire information regarding a convoy of mobile bodies such as vehicles. The information processing apparatus is disposed in a first mobile body, and includes a convoy information detection section, a convoy information generation section, and an output control section. The convoy information detection section detects, based on a first optical signal outputted from a second mobile body preceding the first mobile body, convoy information regarding a convoy of mobile bodies including up to the second mobile body. The convoy information generation section updates the convoy information by adding information regarding the first mobile body to the convoy information. The output control section controls an output section in such a manner as to output a second optical signal to rearward of the first mobile body in accordance with the updated convoy information. The present technology is applicable, for example, to a vehicle designed for autonomous driving.

The medical device includes: an elongated outer sheath; an inner member extending through inside of the outer sheath, the inner member protruding distally beyond the outer sheath; an expansion portion positioned between a distal portion of the outer sheath and a distal portion of the inner member, the expansion portion having a plurality of linear material portions extending along an axial direction of the inner member, the expansion portion being expandable in a radial direction of the inner member; a biasing member disposed inside the outer sheath biasing the inner member proximally relative to the outer sheath; and a fixing portion configured to fix the relative positions of the inner member and the outer sheath in a state in which the expansion portion has been expanded. The fixing portion is also configured to be released from the fixed state.

Medical device

An applicator insertable into a living body includes a nozzle having an elongated nozzle main body and a nozzle head on a front end side of the nozzle main body and through which a liquid together with a gas are expelled, with the nozzle main body including a flexible curved section. The applicator also includes an outer tube in which is positioned a portion of the nozzle main body so as to be movable along a longitudinal direction. An angle or a degree of curvature of the curved section is changed by inserting the curved section into the outer tube to thereby adjust a direction of the nozzle head relative to an axis of the nozzle main body. In addition, a longitudinally extending gap exists between the outer tube and the nozzle. The gap functions as a discharge path for discharging a gas within a body cavity.

Applicator

To easily and accurately place a bone filling material in a cured state at a bone treatment target, a bone treatment system includes a placement device and a deployment operation device. The placement device includes a shaft having a flow path which enables a bone filling material to be placed on a space of a radius to flow therethrough, and a filling balloon to be filled with the bone filling material via the flow pathdisposed in a distal end portion of the shaft. The deployment operation devicecan be inserted into the flow path, and exposes the bone filling material by breaking the filling balloon after being filled with the bone filling material.

Bone treatment system

A method of applying a liquid or powder in a body cavity of a living body involves positioning the distal portion of an applicator in the living body, using an applicator that includes an outer tube and a nozzle having an elongated nozzle main body and a nozzle head at the distal end side of the nozzle main body. The method also includes relatively moving the outer tube and the nozzle so a curved section of the nozzle main body moves proximally relative to the outer tube and enters the outer tube to adjust the direction in which the nozzle is facing, conveying the liquid/powder through the nozzle main body and to the nozzle head, expelling the liquid or the powder from the nozzle head toward a surface in the body cavity, and discharging gas in the body cavity into a longitudinally extending gap and to outside the body cavity.

Method of applying a liquid or powder in a body cavity in a living body

A sprayer capable of avoiding clogging caused in the nozzle includes liquid supplies for supplying a liquid, and a nozzle connected to the liquid supply. The nozzle includes a first internal tube and a second internal tube through which a first liquid and a second liquid supplied from the liquid supply pass, respectively, and an external tube into which respective internal tubes are inserted, and which allows a gas to pass through the gap between it and each internal tube, for ejecting the first liquid and the second liquid with the gas. At least a part of the longitudinal direction of each internal tube is formed of a coil including a helically wound wire rod, so that the gas can flow into the inside of the coil from between the adjacent portions of the wire rod of the coil.

Sprayer

A sprayer which inhibits or prevents clogging from occurring in a nozzle when a liquid is ejected from the nozzle includes a nozzle having a first internal tube through which a first liquid passes, and a second internal tube through which a second liquid passes. An external tube is provided in which the first internal tube and the second internal tube are positioned so that the gas passes therebetween. In the sprayer, each distal end part of the first internal tube and the second internal tube includes a gas permeable film impermeable to each liquid, and permeable to the gas.

A sprayer is capable of inhibiting or preventing clogging occurring in a nozzle upon ejection of a liquid through the nozzle. A sprayer includes liquid supply for separately supplying a first liquid and a second liquid different in liquid composition, and a nozzle. The nozzle includes a first flow path and a second flow path along which passes the first liquid and the second liquid supplied from the liquid supply. In addition, the nozzle includes a third flow path along which passes a gas. A merge part is provided at which the first flow path and the second flow path merge at their respective halfway parts. A vent is provided at the merge part for allowing the gas which has passed through the third flow path to flow into the merge part.

An applicator insertable into a living body includes a nozzle having an elongated nozzle main body and a nozzle head on a front end side of the nozzle main body and through which a liquid together with a gas is expelled, with the nozzle main body including a flexible curved section. The applicator also includes an outer tube in which is positioned a portion of the nozzle main body so as to be movable along a longitudinal direction. A medical device in which a part to be secondarily shaped comprises a molded silicone rubber article is subjected to heatless shaping by irradiation with electron-rays. The irradiation with electron-rays enables shaping and, furthermore, sterilization under some conditions. In a medical device comprising a part in which at least a silicone rubber is used and the mechanical properties of the silicone rubber preferentially appear, the shape of the above-described part upon molding is deformed with the use of a correcting member to a level exceeding the desired deformed shape and maintained in this state. Next, electron-ray irradiation is conducted in this state and then the correcting member is eliminated. Thus, the desired deformed shape intermediate between the shape upon the molding and the shape upon the electron-ray irradiation can be obtained.

Medical device manufacturing method and medical device assembly

A sprayer includes a nozzle through which gas is to be ejected with positiveness and uniformity. The sprayer is provided with a nozzle having inner tubes through the interior of which liquid is to pass and an outer tube receiving the inner tubes therein and allowing gas to pass through a space defined with the inserted inner tubes. The inner tubes have respective liquid orifices through which liquids are to be ejected. The outer tube is arranged therein with the liquid orifices and a gas orifice for ejecting gas. When the nozzle is viewed from front, the outer peripheries of the liquid orifices each assume a circular form while the inner peripheries of the gas orifices are differently shaped to provide plural point contact between the outer periphery of the liquid orifice and the inner periphery of the gas orifice.
