A solar power generation control device controls a solar power generation system storing electric power generated by a solar panel in a battery. The solar power generation control device includes a detection unit configured to detect a state of the battery, and a controller configured to control, based on the state of the battery, a sleep time for temporarily stopping the solar power generation system when a predetermined sleep condition is satisfied.

Solar power generation control device and control method

A charge control system including a solar panel configured to generate electric power with sunlight, a chargeable and dischargeable first battery, a chargeable and dischargeable second battery, and a charge control unit connected to the solar panel, the first battery and the second battery, and a method of the charge control system are provided. The charge control unit is configured to switch between a first mode (indirect charge mode) in which a process of charging the first battery with electric power generated by the solar panel and a process of charging the second battery with electric power stored in the first battery are repeatedly executed depending on a state of charge of the first battery and a second mode (direct charge mode) in which electric power generated by the solar panel is directly charged into the second battery based on at least electric power generated by the solar panel.

Charge control system and charge control method

A vehicle-mounted solar power generation device includes a solar panel, a solar battery that is a battery temporarily storing electric power, and a controller configured to perform control by switching between an electric power generation mode in which the solar battery is charged with a generated electric power of the solar panel and an electric power saving mode in which at least the charging of the solar battery is stopped such that power consumption is suppressed in comparison with the electric power generation mode. The controller determines to switch between modes based on the output voltage of the solar panel. In the electric power saving mode, the controller restricts a switch to the electric power generation mode based on any of the frequency of switching between modes, the amount of electric power stored in the solar battery, and the state of stoppage of a vehicle.

Vehicle-mounted solar power generation device

A solar control device includes: an execution unit configured to cause a DC-DC converter (DDC) to perform a scan process of scanning an output voltage of the solar panel and retrieving a maximum power point based on a predetermined instruction; and a determination unit configured to determine whether a predetermined first time has elapsed after the scan process has been previously completed, to additionally determine whether the panel power continues to be equal to or less than a predetermined first threshold value for a predetermined second time when the first time has elapsed, and to output the instruction to cause the DDC to perform the scan process next to the execution unit when the panel power continues to be equal to or less than the first threshold value for the second time.

Solar control device

A solar charging control device that controls a charged state of a plurality of vehicles connected to each other so that the vehicles are configured to transmit and receive power via a power network in a vehicle sharing system that uses vehicles each having a solar power generation device mounted therein includes an electronic control device. The electronic control device receives a reservation for use of the vehicle, manages rental and return of the vehicles based on the reservation for use, sets the vehicle of which the amount of charging of the battery satisfies a predetermined condition among the vehicles connected to the power network as a charging target vehicle, and manages power transmission and reception via the power network so that a battery of the charging target vehicle is able to be charged using a generation power of the solar power generation device mounted in another vehicle.
